He lives, as many royals do in a Crown property - Windsor Lodge. Apparently about 70 lease, £250 pw from what I have read - but he does have to pay for any specific upgrading. Rather like Frogmore that Prince Harry had - presume he has given that up - but did have to pay about £2million for the upgrading, beyond a protected listed building. But yes, where does Andrew's income, come from. Rather like Harry - ''cut off'' and out there selling his soul.

However, Prince Andrew was granted a lease agreement back in 2003 for 75 years, which meant that after the Duke paid £7.5 million for refurbishments, a £1 million payment to the Crown Estate was made by him to secure the home.

I have always thought Andrew should have addressed these issues from the begining. Whether or not he is quilty of a crime he has shown very poor judgement with his choice of friends and his behaviour when he was younger leave s lot to be desired. Thank you for that. There is however, not just reports of Phillips mom having had bouts of Psych issues but there are others in the Queen's Elizabeth's family who have also been kept away from the media because they are insane. They were institutionalized.
I'm presently researching issue of PTSD from traumatic events causing schizophrenic episodes and whether they are different from just regular schizophrenia in people's lives who have no traumatic experiences.
I wonder what are all the elements at play with Harry. I think it may be a combination of traumatic experience along with a genetic predisposition that was triggered.

The best thing that HRH can do for himself, his daughters, and The Court of St. James...would be that he stay away from ANY camera source (pap shots excluded) and drive the 15 or 20 miles to the nearest food bank, soup kitchen, etc. ..and volunteer (in secret) 30 hrs a week. He could become a regular visitor to old age homes. Help the old people there. Read to them, help them write/post letters, help them use the internet. Even drive them to a doctor's appnt. Go to every Royal Ceremonial function, but sit/stand quietly in the background. He should NEVER stand on the balcony of Buck house again. If he does this for the rest of his healthy/able lifetime...I think that he will be seen in a more positive light by the U.K and the rest of the world. And maybe by future historians.

In a case such as this if your innocent then you would speak to the appropriate authorities as quickly as possible to clear your name. If it was anyone else they would have been extradited by now. Andrew or any other member of the royal family should not be above the law. However ,we have seen in the past that there is a law for them and one for us. As for the worry over the Queens age and how upsetting it is for her. I think the young victims of these predators are far more important.
