    Is this asv motor same as alh motor? Does this info work with alh timing belt replacement?

      Hey Fat Rios,
      thank you for your question, great question! Yes they both get the same set of timing belts. The belt drive is the same. The engines have only different power ASV 81KW ALH 66KW.

    My Skoda 1.9 Timing belt broken, after replacing belt mechanic said vehicle is not starting, valve maybe bent, they replaced valves, after valves he is saying compression down have to change rings and bearings connecting etc. I don't have basic knowledge about this broken timing belt issue. Is it really damages all engine parts?

    With the special tools that looks an easy job. With out it looks impossible
