IMO the best frame overall is Nova. Ever since her rework, she's superb across a lot of different levels of play. Tanky and unkillable in early game and base Steel Path thanks to permanent 90% DR, low-level speedrunning with her 3 to portal quickly and spamming her 1 + augment for waveclear, Steel Path nuking with her 2 and her 4, a good endurance frame because of her 4 being such a strong CC and damage amping tool to act as a weapons platform, and of course a near-mandatory frame for resource farming with her Speedva playstyle. It's kind of crazy how versatile and strong she is.
Nova has been my main and most played for two years straight its unbelievable how versatile she is yet how underused she has been aside from speedva shenanigans. Plus shes got some of the coolest deluxes out theee
I think gauss is a testament to a well designed kit will stand the test of time. Gauss was released so long ago and so well that helminth still hasn’t hit him as hard as many other frames
Gauss is awesome, after learning the frame of pure concentrated adhd and tomfoolery you can never really forget him, nuke rooms, run missions fast, buff yourself to make you immortal (unless a fucking nullifier pulls up goddam i hate those) and the buff just generally makes most weapons so much better with the reload and firerate buff, i have other warframes i like to use but gauss will forever have a special lil place in my heart

Im a bit surprised garuda didnt make it to the list tbh, she has an infinitely scaling 30m aoe nuke, virtually infinite survivability since she has infinite energy so its super easy to shieldgate, her q shield gives her primed sure footed, her 3 cleans any status effect u might have, she can reload weapons with her 3 augment, she can aoe viral prime if u subsume nourish, u can even make use of huras kubrow for infinite invisibility. Her only weakness are the few enemies that dont get damaged by her 1 or damage attenuation for which u generally only need 1 weapon to deal with, imo its the frame that requires the least resources to work out of every warframe, namely molt reconstruct and a weapon in case the enemy ure fighting doesnt get oneshot by ur 4 1 combo

I'd replace Mesa with Nova, because while Mesa can kinda work and do her thing anywhere, Nova is THE, ACTUAL meta slot for a higher number of applications than any other frame in the game... farming, speedrunning, even teleporting cetus drones (to say nothing of her GENERAL PLAY factors such as mass damage vulnerability application, crowd control, DR and ability nuking capabilities.)
Saryn is simply overall the best with Rev and Cyte09 being the only competitors. Rev for how easy he is to just not ever die and Cyte for just clearing maps through walls no matter how thick. Mesa isn't even a top 25 for me anymore. Cyte09 with the dual toxocyst incarnon is literally just a better mesa with invis and can map through walls
I’d say Mesa, Dante, and the final one would be a toss up between a bunch of different frames: Revenant, Rhino, Citrine, Protea, Nova, Mag, Gauss or Saryn; I personally don’t like Saryn as she is kind of clunky. Also Nekros simply for what he brings to the team and the sweet loot bonus.
Nekros is overrated - You need to kill enemies with Slash in order to make Desecrate generate loot (or with Amalgam Ripkas, but then you sacrifice melee slot for one single mod, which doesn't feel good). And besides his 3 rest of his kit just sucks, especially his 1 and 4.
@, no he isn’t and his kit is great. It sounds like you’re just complaining about it to complain about it, cause you don’t like it. Also, even with the extra gore chance using Ripkas is unnecessary to begin with you should be simply killing enemies and using desecrate to assist your teammates as an undying support tank.
Garuda. Garuda is the frame you’re looking for the third spot. Self sustaining, nourish over her 3 makes her insane, plus vigorous swap is multiplicative with her dread heart. Literally have not found something I can’t kill with her and she herself is unkillable with molt reconstruct if you play her right.
I love dante, he has taken over the main spot over years of playing ash. He's got a book, a beard and birds, he protec and attax. He got the most powerful arca plasmor build in, that, even when subsumed over, still gives massive benefits to your weapons. He can play in the backround as pure support, nuke the shit out of anything and looking good doing it. For fast mass destruction in exterminates i love mirage, her weapon nuking potential is scary, for fooling around i like gauss or protea...i could go on for a while. Other than a handful of frames most are very good at their thing and fun to play, this game is something special.
I love how I mained Dante since he came out, definitely my strongest frame, and yet all I do is grind for other frames to switch to and find a new main
My personal favourites are Mirage and Wisp. HEAR ME OUT. When I got Mirage from her queat I instantly fell in love and she was my main for a very long time. I used to play her with a friend of mine that mains Loki and we were a illusionist duo, very fun and also is fum to nuke the room with the prism. And Wisp she's not only very pretty but she's also a nice all rounder in my opinion... I play her with a build very similar do Blacky's and she's my strongest frame for now (it can change if I get my hands on a Mirage Prime). Honorable mentions: Ember, Saryn, Excalibur Umbra and Octavia.
Gauss and Wisp for me are in something just above S Tier. Both can focus on abilities, ranged weapons, or melee. Both are unkillable outside of colossal misplays. Both easily put out crazy-stupid damage. Both have well-rounded kits. Every other frame I can think of has at least some small downside.
I feel like these things should come with a disclaimer where if you're relatively new to the game and looking through youtube tier lists trying to figure out what frame will make your life the easiest the most often, the answer is Revenant. He's not exciting or fashionable, but he is incredibly strong and versatile after unlocking helminth, and has a much higher skill floor.
Since exalted weapons are gonna get arcanes, Mesa's regulators are gonna upgrade by a whole new level. Especially since she will have a reliable way to make overguard and status immunity with Secondary Fortifier.
Correct answer: whichever you enjoy the most. I've met players that spend 90% of their time in game fishing and running animal captures. I once knew a guy who was a fanatic for Spy missions. I'm a chronic solo player committed to grinding everything I have except the things like Warframe slots that I HAVE to buy. Your gameplay experience isn't something that anyone else can decide for you. There will always be a meta, and whether that has any effect on you is your choice. Do what you love. Play what you want to. Collect all the fishing trophies from every open world, I believe in you!
All depends on builds, so lets make it an even playing ground and say you have to clear SP without any mods on your frame and no ridiculously OP weapons to carry you, i dont think there's a better choice than Octavia
Top 59 Frames till date?? Gotta set down some rules, helminth option yes or no?, there is not Bad Frame, its how you play em, and which gamemode you take em on... Fastest Frame??? Wukong, Gauss, Titania, Volt?? but on Spy? Wukong ( Hacker Kong or Hacker Droid Kong). Nuking so many options, Damage Sponge ( Valkyr : "What is Damage?"), Damage Cap?. Support Frame (Dante : Dont worry about dying, Revenant skin skin skin Team Mes Skin). But there are frames that fall behind but still useable, Invis frame? RIP Loki.... but Loki still great on Level Cap Casscade runs.... but in comes Octavia, spam crouch to win.... Evade anything.
Its more like who's best at X or Y. For overall best, imo the Top 3 frames would be Volt, Mirage, Revenant. I have all the frames mentioned but they cant beat the comfort + efficiency of the 3 I named.
I’ve been loving voruna, can have insane parkour and movement speed with her 1 and hold 1, I can beat majority of volt, gauss, and Titania players to obj and extract. I can be immune to status, invisible, free energy, and mini saryn with insane dmg.
I love the crap out of Hydroid but it's kind of ironic that his strongest ability (Plunder imo) gives him armor but his survivability is mid. Normally I wouldn't be comfortable saying that because people always seem to disagree but recently I've heard others say the same thing so I'm fine saying it now. Also awesome kullervo. Not really a fan of minimalistic looks that lack color or only use 2 colors but that looks super cool.
Funnily enough hydroid has pretty high base shields. So I use shield tanking / gating with brief respite and primed redirection for that giga-comfortable 2.5s shield gate (assuming that anything can even shoot u through the slimy ASMR mass that is your 4 and 1)
to say a warframe is the best they must have peak performance in every kind of mission, like u said in arbitrations another frame is better, mesa in a spy mission is a no no, try to make a video showing the best warframe for each kind of mission and that's gonna be quality content

Overguard is paper at level 400 and up. I still use Dante quite a bit for completing my codex with Helios. I hate LoS nukes, more annoying than anything
Idk, finding best farframe seems a bit pointless, bc you need defferent best warframes for different types of mission. So if you asked me about best frames i would choose someone who is pretty good in defferent thing or really good in something that other frames are a lot worse. So i would choose Mesa without question, she is one of the best overall picks for a lot of missions. She is good in open world, she can easily do defense, disruption, etc. And she is the single strongest frame for sp circuit. Next i would probabably choose limbo, bc he's really good at doing mobile defence, you can use him for easy spy missions and for things like sindicate medallions\argon crystals etc. And i woild pick titania or mirage. Titania for doing noraml path missions really fast and mirage for doing sp missions really fast. And ofc i would mention wisp for railjack missions, octavia for something like void cascade, revenant for pretty much everything, and frost for one of the strongest defence\support frame (and rly good in circuit too)
If I get Mesa and any secondary that I can put Secondary Outburst on for my circuit rotation, I know for a fact I’m going to level cap. Just did my first ever solo run from tier 1 to tier 10 without dying with Mesa prime. Still melted everything at level cap

How do you deal with armored enemy in a exterminate missions? Its take too long to press 3 for every 50m. Mirrage plus Ogris = 2m per mission or even faster. But yea, Xaku is good.

Gauss is overrated. Significantly. Oh you nuked a room? It cost you 500 energy, which was after casting 12 times to get your battery ready.

Protea and it aint even close. Turrents go crazy, excellent survivability, great in any team comp and builds for any situation. No weakness.
