Fyi you had dual bleed on. Should have turned apu bleed off after engine start. And you left packs off. And also you didn't need to use lvl change to climb. To disregard the restrictions then you hit altitude intervention button. Have a nice day
Hopefully in a week or two. I’m trying to make videos that have an extra ‘wow’ factor rather than just being a plain and simple flight. So the next video will probably be using a new addon and flying into Tivat, Montenegro in the PMDG 737
There are the types of things we want with MS2020 now. Aircraft. Better default airport scenery buildings etc. clean taxiways w signs. Not too much lol. Nice video I subbed
Yeah I’ve been using MSFS over the past few days (getting used to it, wowing myself at the graphics lol) and it’s amazing, but I’ll be switching back and forth between it and P3D because of the lack of high fidelity airliners in MSFS rn. Hopefully the first video with MSFS here is coming by Monday. Also glad you liked the video!
did PMDG ever fix the large wind screen discrepancy on the 737 NGX ? I had the first version from about 5 years ago. Haven't done flight sim inn years. Great model but that high windscreen took away a lot of realism.
Well, you can buy payware sceneries from sites like Aerosoft, ORBX and Simmarket or you can download freeware sceneries from various sites (but not such a good selection)
I have dynamic reflections turned off in his video, which is why the ‘reflections’ look like that. It’s a bug with v5 where the ‘reflection’ is just a static image basically of a blue sky with clouds. If I turned on dynamic reflections, it would go back to normal
@@TheFlightShow do you have enhanced atmospherics on as well? I tried turning off dynamic reflections (don’t know if I have to restart the sim or anything but it made no difference to the leading edges.)
How long was the runway bcuz some runways are long enough that you land flaps 30 if it’s to short flaps 40. You will save fuel and it’s more efficient anyway good flight
Do you have your CPU at 3.6 but it has a turbo setting of 4.9? I have the i7 9700k as well and it’s 3.6 gHz but, they claim it can operate at 4.9. I dunno the difference
3.6 is just the base clock. It will run up to 4.9 without any overclocking required. If you want to set it so that it always stays at a higher clock speed, then I recommend downloading and application such as AI Suite 3 and setting it in there (just don’t fiddle around with too many settings).
Thanks! I’ve been trying to figure out why I have that shine and I still don’t know. Also to get the reshade preset go to www.rdpresets.com/reshade1.html#/ and download it there. To install reshade into p3d v5 check this video: th-cam.com/video/hTM9piLfz48/w-d-xo.html
Its so shiny because dynamic reflections are disabled. If you enable dynamic reflections there is an issue (by P3Dv5 itself) with native PBR Materials (such as the 737 ngxu) on metallic textures.
I think maybe wait 1 month until the new MSFS is released cause that will be much cheaper than buying addons for p3d and will be much better graphics :)
Yeah until Asobo doesnt release a good weather radar API pmdg wont be able to recreate the weather radar as in p3d...Im resting in this sim until theyre doing that
Very nice video. Thank you. Only one mistake: starting engine 1 before starting engine 2 but nice video and amazing simulator (because of the insane realism, the graphics and the sound) Thank you for this video...new subscriber
Should be by the book 2 then 1 for proper operations but there are cases when an aircraft taxi with only one engine, so to take into account proper wear and tear (engine hours) they taxi on engine 1 only then turn on the 2 as well. Especially on RyanAir.
Also if you use Air start unit (if apu is inoperative) you connect the air cart to the right side and you start engine 1 first. Then disconnect air cart and Gpu, and then when all is clear you start number 2 with crossbleed air from engine n.1.
MSFS will kill off P3D and XP no doubt, but I think we’ll still be using P3D/XP as well for another 6 months at least until addon aircraft get released for the new sim
There is no difference except for a small bit of text in the top right corner that says ‘academic license’. The reason Professional and Professional Plus cost more is because they have more advanced capabilities for actual training and military practice or something idk. If you just want to flight sim, then use Academic.
@@TheFlightShow yeah I feel msfs would be good for playing around but p3d is the king for realistic flight physics etc, I have an a350 pilot on my Facebook and he says msfs is fun but is no where near realistic when it comes to physics
Yeah once MSFS gets some really good aircraft addons like we have in p3d, it’ll probably be better than p3d. The physics will be adjusted my Asobo I’d imagine. Anyway, exciting times ahead for flight simming!
Well, this isn't a simple question to answer: It depends on your current situation. Do you own Prepar3d v4? If you already have Prepar3d v4 then I would say it is worth it as every addon has a free upgrade. If you don't own Prepar3d v4 currently then I would say just wait until MSFS2020 and maybe use X-Plane 11 until then which is cheaper. As a former Prepar3d v4 user I am very happy with v5 except for the fact I have been having some issues with it but now I've fixed them. If you want to be able to use the trueSKY clouds, you will need a decent amount of VRAM. I have 8GB in my RTX2080 but if you have less than that then you will run into many VRAM issues. Hopefully this helps you out. Any more questions feel free to reply :)

What do you use for the tablet in the cockpit as I don’t think that’s a thing on the normal PMDG 737
Well it is included in the PMDG 737. Maybe you have to enable it in the settings in the FMC
Brilliant video! What did you move to walk around on the ground?
Thanks! Using Chaseplane’s free camera mode you can have this ‘walking’ effect if you lower the camera enough
