I always play more aggressive regardless of the competition, but not necessarily scoring. After watching this video, I decided to start playing it safe and manage the course better. So this is my goal for the rest of the year. Keep up the great content!
@@joytobias461 Let me know how it goes, it certainly won't work for everyone, and I don't even know if I'll play safer! Depends on the video I suppose 😇
I enjoy it more when I go for it and hit really good shots, so I tend to be more aggressive. I also only play for fun, so a safer mindset would probably be best for anything where your score truly matters, haha.

@@vincepapillo4104 Absolutely! It really depends on what's most fun for you anyways! Are you playing golf to have a memorable shot you can tell your friends about, or potentially shoot a personal low? Both are correct!! 💯
When I was younger, my "aggressive" mindset was to always hit every club as hard and as far as I could and leave myself with the shortest possible in to the green. Now my goal is to leave myself 100 yards in (on longer holes) and be deadly accurate from that distance. I also frequently choose to swing softer now, preferring to hit a choked up 9 iron vs a hard PW for example.
@@Kawboy65 Having done a bunch of hole in one marathons on the Simulator, I can easily say that a knockdown 9i is much more accurate than a full PW so I totally agree!!

@@davidharrison4632 Very nice, good luck out there! Ya it just felt like I could feel the club face a lot more than I normally do, like it was really hard to get offline or off-plane with that swing. I'll be using it more that's for sure! 🤩

Always safe! But that works if you have reliable putting. If I'm GIR+1 with the knowledge I'll be inside 6 feet, I'll take that any day. But I never putt with a glove on after missing a 2ft putt to win a match play comp. Never again!
There should be a way to measure self confidence on the course in a score format. Then it tells you to go for it or not based on your current confidence levels because that is a huge part of the result lol
