This is an AWESOME video and I did not bother filming my installation; but this is NOT AS EASY AS YOU MAKE IT SEEM, although I used a different hitch. I started at 2:00 pm and did not finish until 6:00 pm, haha. I installed the Draw-Tite Class 3 Max Frame 2" Hitch and that thing was heavy and thick, so it was not as easy to maneuver around like you did. Everyone, make sure to THREAD your bolts before the final installation to make sure everything goes in right AND definitely bolt the "loop" first and let the hitch hang, so you can tighten the "wings". I made a lot of "noob" mistakes; but I used a dremel to cut the plastic panel and the BIGGEST headache were the rubber clips holding up the muffler. You MUST use WD40 and the heads are little "arrowheads", so you need to use a very small flathead screwdriver to help it get over the "hump" and then use your hand to push; but holy crap did I waste a lot of time on the rubber clips. I also did not use any ramps, lift, etc; but it does a number on your back and you definitely need a second set of hands, so that Curt must be really light. Either way, GREAT VIDEO and it helped me with my installation, although I took 4 hours on a Sunday; but I saved some money, hahaha...

Just installed a tow hitch on my Honda CRV. Your cut out directions worked perfectly and I didn't need to take off the entire plastic panel.

Although this post was 7yrs ago. I used this method (cutting a hole in the cover). Installed a trailer hitch in about an hour. Salamat for a great idea.

Thank you for your video, leaving the plastic and adding the zip ties was a nice touch and made for a clean appearance. Awesome stuff ☝️👍👍

Thank you for the video, it really helped me. And one question, how tight should those screws be screwed in? I am a bit afraid I add too much strength to those screws.
