Riding the Southside flow & NEW FEATURE at Murphy Hanrehan mountain bike trail - Savage, MN

This was my last one of the MORC trails to check off and I was thankful to have Sam (‪@ElTerrible2011‬) with me to provide some guidance. I put it off for a few years because it didn't look like it was necessarily my type of riding but I was pleasantly surprised. Really good flow with plenty of roots and some rocks for good measure plus some skinnies and rock features. Give it a shot if you haven't yet!

I’m happy we got out there, and especially happy with the new feature. The steeper landing let you select your spice level as to how deep you wanted to send it but it felt smooth putting the wheels down. Also loved the signage for the new trail 🤣 But in all seriousness it’s cool a classic trail is getting some heavier options. Fitting since back when I started the Murphy skinny was the gnarliest one in town. Fun ride and great vid as usual!

I rode that feature yesterday. You would not want to get the wheel turned and stuck in the big crack in the rock. That would be OTB, big time! lol
