DUSTY and LOOSE first ride of the year at Spirit Mountain Bike Park - Duluth, MN
First rip at spirit for the year! @ElTerrible2011 and I met up with @AndrewGehn to get some full on downhill laps in. This was by far the most dry I've ever seen it here and things got sketch a few times... It wasn't very confidence inspiring so we mostly stuck to the easier fun runs.

My first time riding the Piedmont / Brewer Park MTB trails - Duluth, MN
มุมมอง 609ปีที่แล้ว
We got a first timer here! I still had a bit of juice left in the legs after riding Mission Creek so I decided to pop over to Brewer to see what it's all about. I assumed it would be a bit grueling and techy but to my surprise there was quite a bit of good flow on Home Brew. There were also some very fun, more downhill oriented trails mixed in to keep it interesting. I really wish I could have ...

My first trip to Duluth for the year! I decided to pop up to Mission Creek because it's a bit easier going and there's still quite a bit of trails for me to explore. On this ride, I went for the lower/ Southwest region starting from Chambers Grove Park. I climbed up the St. Louis River Trail each time and just went back downhill. It was very flowy, fun and extra fast in parts :) 0:12 Upper Cath...

This surprisingly gnarly trail is tucked away behind Park Hill Cemetery just West of Hawk Ridge. It's just a blip on Trailforks, but definitely worth checking out if you like chunky, hand-cut singletrack with some rock rolls. Shoutout to @kendallwelch for uploading photos of this trail on Trailforks. Without seeing those, I probably never would have checked this one out. Bike: 2021 Santa Cruz 5010

Okay so you have to pedal a little... but this trail might be my favorite I've ridden in Duluth so far. Start at Enger Tower and you can blast all the way down to Superior Street. Not many trails have this long of a sustained decent (that I know of). Fast, chunky with drops, jumps AND slabs. Can't ask for much more of a mountain bike trail in MN! Bike: 2021 Santa Cruz 5010
