It’s interesting because as I listened to pile 3’s reading I was reminded of when I was a kid feeling frustrated with adults because they just didn’t seem interested in talking with me authentically and about deep conversation topics that challenged what I was being taught (I.e God, Angels, religion, finding a sense of belonging in life). I quickly realized that i didn’t understand or care for small talk and the difficulty of finding people I can relate to. It’s interesting because as I listened to pile 3’s reading I was reminded of when I was a kid feeling frustrated with adults because they just didn’t seem interested in talking with me authentically and about deep conversation topics that challenged what I was being taught (I.e God, Angels, religion, finding a sense of belonging in life). I quickly realized that i didn’t understand or care for small talk and the difficulty of finding people I can relate to.
