I would say that Robyn may have just gotten herself into legal trouble. By stating publicly on national TV that her house was meant to be a FAMILY asset, Janelle and Meri have all the proof they need for a court that they are entitled to some of the proceeds from the sale of that FAMILY asset.

Meri also contributed to the payment on Robyn's house. I don't understand how Kody got Christines portion of Coyote Pass, wasn't family money used to buy Coyote Pass? It seems that Christines portion & the other Coyote Pass property should be split evenly between the others as family money was used. Robyn's house should be sold & Meri & Janelle should be reimbursed for the money they put in. An accountant should be brought in to determine how much money that Kody & Robyn took from the family account for their art etc.

At the point the family left Las Vegas, the OG3 knew exactly what Kody and Sobbin were doing and were idiots 1) to purchase Coyote Pass with Kody and 2) to give any funds to "the family," i.e. Kody and Sobbin. They knew in Vegas the plural family wasn't working for them and should have been planning an exit strategy like Christine.

Everyone contributed. Then there is the matter of spending family money on jewelry, expensive art, etc. so none of that was used to help the others. Christine is the only one that got a down payment from the family pot and she relinquished her part of Coyote Pass to “pay it back”. You are absolutely correct about the reason for the move out of Vegas to Flagstaff. He wanted to destabilize the financial independence of Janelle and Christine.
I thought that from the time they wanted to move to flagstaff. I said then they want their houses sold so Robyn and Kody could get their hands on their equity. The only one that smartened up was Christine , and I believe that was from Janelle talking to Christina, and telling her don’t leave until you can leave financially. @@mindycarroll1035 No they cant. A lien would have to be a mechanics lien, where a plumber or a contract worker did repairs for them and they didnt pay. There is no lien for investing in the property. They would have to prove that in court first anyway.

In arizona it’s 7 years and most states that allow common law marriage, it’s only 7yrs. Janelle and Christine and meri all have that. Even after meri’s divorce they would still be considered common law married and that’s even on tape of Kody saying he can’t leave her because they all have marriages in their eyes and the eyes of their church.

It was interesting when jenell was in the car with her daughter, she still seems hesitant to comfort Kody. And when Christine was asking her questions, she felt Christine was being nosey. Christine always has nice things to say about her relationship with Jenell. Jenell seems to get a bit agitated feeling like Christine was asking her too many questions. I don’t get Jenell sometimes
I know that irritated me, but it looked like Christine came over to only ask about Kody. I think Janelle was just mad at herself for not getting something in her name.
Christine is getting way too much satisfaction out of Janelle leaving Kody. I know they are good friends and I think that's great, but Christine can be kind of pushy. She got so excited that Janelle and Maddie were looking at land. Janelle isn't as impulsive as Christine. She likes to think, consider, weigh things then make a decision. I think Janelle is a bit more private and conservative than Christine. Remember when the two of them went to visit, I think it was Christine's brothers? Christine started talking about Kody and family stuff and Janelle was a bit taken back.

Per google: As of 2024, common law marriage is only recognized in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, New Hampshire, Texas, Utah, and the District of Columbia.
Plus I don't think you can claim common law if 1 party is legally married to anyone else.
Some states recognize common law marriage, others don't. Arizona is a state that does not.

Right from the very beginning Rob em got her own apt , a better house in Vegas, a huge house in Flagstaff, and she never had to work. I hope they hire forensic accountants and sue the crap out of Kody and Rob em. They might as well do it or those 2 are just going to blow everything and end up in a tent anyway.
This is not that challenging. There is a financial record of Janelle transferring that money for the house to Kody and Robin. She just needs to get a lawyer and she will be reimbursed at least the money she gave. Maybe not the art ect but she can at least get that money back.
