Nice work and very very good knowledge you carry on home automation I would like to be in touch with you as starter and vety keen in getting my current Alexa enabled led bulbs to next level without any cloud interference and internet connectivity
I’m looking for a solution where the relay side is potential free. (I will be using a relay to short a port in my Komfovent ventilation system. ) So the question here is if the relay port is isolated from 230V in any of the versions?
hi, great to watch your projects :). I'm looking for a smart plug with power meter that would give hourly measure and not send my data to China. Any recommendation ?
Any ZigBee with custom coordinator would not send anything out - it only submits data if it uses propiretary cloud. One thing I always say, if you going to submit your IoT data somewhere, submit it to a country without jurisdiction in your location. It's safer
Hi guy whose image haunts me over sites! 😂 I want to use this relay to start a 230V cooling fan inside a communications rack, when temperatures rising and to shut it off when temp goes down. Can I simply use this device or I should buy an Aqara temperature sensor?
@@notenoughtech hi, I found the problem. Im using the T1 switch with no N. And it is powered trough the light bulb. But I used a LED bulb in my test an then the T1 did not get power trough the bulb. Changed out the bulb with a regular glow bulb and it works fine. It also work’s with LED but I had to use a LED with a driver. It also works with a fluorisant bulb. But tanks for the nice and informative videos of yours. Im using two T1 switches to sense the state of two normal switches and one T1 to turn on a light remotely. 🤖🤓😃

You are probably want ZigBee lights for that as you can use them more freely with other ecosystems
Thank you.
What is the Aqara T1's standby consumption?
nice video, you chose to use z2m to just use it with nodered? or do you use it with home assistant because it's "better" than zha?
I find it familiar. I don't personally use HA as I like my automations to be very custom. :)
also other relays without neutral can work with Xiaomi gateway? thanks
There is no quarantees that it would work but stuff from Aqara and Xiaomi mixes usually well.

look up Shelly 1 Plus, however, it's WiFi so I'm not sure if it meets your requirements
Why this doesnt work with alexa?
Hi could you send me please instructions how to install Aqara t1 with neutral. I have only 2 cables in my wall. Thx
If you only have 2 cables in the wall switch you need a version with no neutral or mount it in the ceiling where you have the access to the L and N

You'll need a way to track temperature (sensor, or input from your machines) then you can link that with the relay output via NodeRED
Is it running as a ZigBee device or a router?
z2m reported this device as a router
@@notenoughtech thanks 👍😊
Hi, how do you reset the aqara seitshes T1? It lighted up with te blue light and connected, but now it is not responding. No blue light!
You need to hold the button for 5 sec to reset the switch

Great info thanks for the update. I was using LED bulb in my test but it looks like mine was letting more current through
