You talking about being presumptuous meanwhile I recommend an outfit to almost every muse I come across lol. It’s a core aspect of the game! And personally I’m excited when I have a new outfit recommended to me, even if I don’t like it. All the interactions in this game are positive which I think is really nice. Also, Honeycrisp or Pink Lady apples are the best
I think my game might have had an issue, I started getting some recommendations today, but hadnt seen any day 1 or 2. I had to send a request to a friend, and even that took over an hour to come back. Maybe 20-30 minutes after that I started getting some, so idk. That said, still mental blocks. Its scary
@@DoitiEtokNews yeah that’s understandable! I normally don’t like online games due to the anxiety it gives me, I think my experience with the style savvy games helps my confidence in this one as well. I hope you have a fun time with the game despite that :)
I love making lookits for other players and I love getting them too. I wish there was more options for putting the stuff I like so my look it requests could in pastels or something.
Yeah as much as I enjoy the game, charging 50 bucks for a tech demo like game and doing damage control after launch being like: „we‘ll update the game post launch so don‘t worry guys!“ isn‘t really cool imo. Like, this is literally early access sold as a finished game. They probably got that from animal crossing but I‘m genuinely irritated by the fact that these studios really think it‘s ethical to lie about the game they sell and selling them unfinished promising to finish it post launch. I dunno what went wrong but in retrospect, renaming style savvy to fashion dreamer and the devs hiding their studio in shame in the trailers until the last second is a red flag. Like, I just hope they fix it cause as of now this really is just a hollow prettier version if style savvy. The older games had story, more customer rotation, inventory management and good filter systems as well as ui and also fun little places to send ur character to simulating a life outside the shop you‘re running. Not to mention also the contests, character depth, hair stylist career and makeup shop as well as options for nails. This game doesn‘t even have inners and tops it just has tops and outers. Not to mention also a lack of necklaces and accessories like leg warmers u could wear over stockings. I just don‘t get why a new game has to sacrifice so much depth. Lets be honest, there’s no real depth to anything anymore. Npcs were literally made more over the top to seem less boring as they toned down the dialogue. Every one of them says the same 3 lines after making them outfits. How hard would it be to make variables with sentences like: „i like that style!“ or „oh that‘s bold!“ or „you really have an eye for sophisticated looks!“ saying: „i love the colors!“ in multiple different ways is not convincing to me. Like, how hard is it to make dialogue more in depth. It‘s like they spent all this time rushing these over the top characters to make up for no story or depth. There‘s not even a sense of friendship there like in animal crossing wich is silly to me. Like, you cqn‘t tell me some girl will still talk to me the same way like on day 1 after getting past 10 outfits. Like my god! They literally just needed to add words like: „bestie!, buddy, love, girl, or other ebdearing words like that to each character to give an ounce of implied depth there. It‘w like they want you to do all the work daydreaming up depth the game is lacking. It is lazy game design tbh. And from the devs of style savvy i‘d have expected more than a dress up game with horrible currency accumilation minigames. Bingo is literally brain melting. I‘d rather get to 9999 tickets than to spend 10 minutes mindlessly pressing A over and over.
I'll be honest, haven't played style savvy, knew little to nothing of this game coming in. These were my thoughts after a few hours with the game. I also felt weird at first with idea of dressing up other players. But after someone did it to my character, I didn't hate it. It was was just a suggestion at the end of the day and I didn't have to wear it if I didn't like it.
Mentally I understand that, but just like not wanting to make an outfit that didn't meet the NPC demands, it felt like some small mental hurdle that I just couldn't overcome. Maybe with time
I'm playing and I like getting lookits from anyone. It's a way to get new items and inspiration for new looks. No one is going to complain about new clothes.
I always just try to give players the clothes I have with the highest star rarity rating that match their color and style requests. I don't assume they'll wear the outfit, but if they keep a piece I'm happy!
