Just put that same air cleaner in this morning thanks for the video! Question: Did you use blue loctite on the three inside bolts and on the three outside bolts?
Jose Manuel De Hoyos yes i actually used it on all the bolts to be safe. And if you used my video to help im glad i could offer the help. Let me know if you have any other questions
fredz6 in the video i showed, i just used the spacer a washer and another washer. So the order should be cylinder head, spacer, washer, filter bracket, and another spacer and the breather bolt through all that
So to get the maximum out of it yes if not then its like runny the stock filter just air goes in easier. The sensor will detect how much air is coming in and if you have o2 sensors then it will tell the computer to adjust the fuel to air ratio. Whe. You tune it us going to use every bit of air available and allow way more gas for more power. Essentially how its supposed to work. I tuned it and I was able to rev a little higher and my max speed also went up. I haven't maxed it out now but before it maxed at about 100 I think
Hey, so i dont have a video update but i still have the same filter on the bike, its been now almost 3 years and it is a bit dirty. I have not had any issues with it and you can remove it to clean it. I am in the desert area of el paso and it does a good good job at cleaning the air.
Dude thanks a lot I've got the same aircleaner I installed it few minutes ago thanks to you. Holy hell the change pipe + cleaner is noisy though. Question : did you oil the filter?
benbenthepenguin i did a lil bit with the k&n spray from o’reilly. Im glad the video was helpful, if it helped you leave a like and share. Any other questions just let me know
david goldsberry so it works like the stock air breather, in the video i explain something that looks like a key thats where the heads breath into the intake like the factory one
Why would you put the magnetic tray on the tank??? Not only can it scratch the tank, but the hardware that falls could scratch the parts underneath. Well made video, but that just annoys the hell out of me haha. Ride safe!
KILLING hey sorry i haven’t been able to get on able to reply. But i would not recommend blocking it since its what allows for pressures and bloby to eacape. If you want they sell a kit where you attach a hose and it breaths to the atmosphere
Thx, tomorrow will install in the same way
Thanks bro u just save me. Very nice video, I was able to install my today.
param cooper glad i could help you out, i have other videos of installs for the bike. Feel free to look them up
cool video Dude, it's helps me a lot..thnks from France ! I was afraid to install it and have oil on my pants !

What size socket for breather bolt

Thanks for the video that helps! Which model year is your Iron 883?
nasomaz it is a 2014 and im glad i could help
Did you have to use extra washers for the spacers? Mine is quiet a bit short and doesn’t sit tight on the block
fredz6 in the video i showed, i just used the spacer a washer and another washer. So the order should be cylinder head, spacer, washer, filter bracket, and another spacer and the breather bolt through all that
Hey bro, what socket did you use for the two breathers. Cheers
I think it was an allen socket, cant remember anymore
Which socket did you use to remove the nuts at the bottom of the original filter near the engine?
I think it was something like a 14mm might be different depending on model year
@@motorhead883_8 it's a Sportster XL1200 CA 2016
Hey thanks for your video 👍🏽, should I have to tune the bike after installing the air clear??

Any update on the air filter? Did it hold up with no issue?
Hey, so i dont have a video update but i still have the same filter on the bike, its been now almost 3 years and it is a bit dirty. I have not had any issues with it and you can remove it to clean it. I am in the desert area of el paso and it does a good good job at cleaning the air.
Does it make any difference in throttle response?
Yes you can definitely feel a difference, what I notice that gave the most difference though was the fuel pack by vance and hines
Do you need an external breather with it ? Or just itself ?
I just used the one it came with and it has worked with no issues
Can u feel a difference with that setup ?
Steve Larios yes the air cleaner it self was a major change but i would recommend you tune the bike after installing a high flow air cleaner
Motorhead883_ yes I’m going to order one today I also have a FP3 Fuelpak to go with it
Steve Larios awesome man, when you install it let me know what you think and tell me is you notice a difference
Steve Larios did you get your air cleaner installed? If you did what do you think about it or did you notice a difference?
Is this a high flow filter?
david goldsberry yes it is
Dude thanks a lot I've got the same aircleaner I installed it few minutes ago thanks to you. Holy hell the change pipe + cleaner is noisy though.

did u have to re jet?
harleigh cicc no but i did have to reflash the ecu with the vance and hynes fuel pack 3
Is this a self breathing system?
david goldsberry so it works like the stock air breather, in the video i explain something that looks like a key thats where the heads breath into the intake like the factory one
Motorhead883_ cool thanks man!
david goldsberry no problem any other questions don’t hesitate to ask

Well made video, but that just annoys the hell out of me haha. Ride safe!
Well now I know!!!!!
Aj Collins hell yeah! Anything you want to see let me know, and share the video with people that might want to subscribe
Good job. But man, sticking that magnet bowl on the gas tank simply bothers me!
Generic Mutant haha yeah i know, but don’t worry it has a soft rubber bottom
Thanks for ur help 😊
Hi there is it ok to block those two breathers?
KILLING hey sorry i haven’t been able to get on able to reply. But i would not recommend blocking it since its what allows for pressures and bloby to eacape. If you want they sell a kit where you attach a hose and it breaths to the atmosphere
@@motorhead883_8 I believe this kit includes breathers thru those screws
KILLING the one i installed yes it does. They look like a flat key
