maybe i just had the right characters but this actually felt pretty simple once i got the strat done, other than damage reqs there wasn't anything blocking my idea like locks for an example.

as a farmable content wood EX is very painful and requires characters i don't have, for a first clear however i found it to be very doable.
with no locks or gimmicks this stage only has 2 issues:
damage: finding units that hit both weakness and killers on lunarians is tough, a lot of people go with MVs due to their paralell presence killer, but since the clear is only fes/gen i had to go with weakness for the most part.
breaks: with kannagi recovering and healing 4 of her barriers every turn it is challenging to achieve a fullbreak, however a combination of medicine + poison breaker does the job since medi's AoE is almost 5 breaks when you account for the poison.
with that done it is still hard to fullbreak and nuke them 3 times in a row given that none of my characters can nuke both enemies alone, so right at the beggining hecatia deletes oto's first gauge to make sure that when i throw the last LWs i get a bomb item, allowing me to repeat the process.
Massive respect for getting this done day 1. I was worried that this fight would be near impossible without units like F1 Koishi or Reimu. Very happy to see that I was proven wrong.
Probably going to adapt this with Sfes+, but it’s nice to have this as an idea of what to expect.

Not that different from other quests requiring Beachkari and Strategist Tewi to clear locks.

Thank you so much for the clear comp, I thought I wouldn't be able to clear this one because I have neither F1 Reimu or F1 Koishi. The only character I didn't have from your comp was Keiki, but with a little tweaking I replaced her with Tiny Junko
Update: Managed to get this same type of clear on my bluemu account using Bluemu, Rebirth Toyohime, and Tiny Junko.
I had to awaken a bunch of people, but I don’t regret doing it since I usually see friends like Scarlet Reimu at max awakening.
Thanks for the inspiration. It was close, but Bluemu and company still pulled through.
good job on doing this tbh, i tried with other units but i just felt short on breaks, i was lucky and i got mv youmu on a single 10 pull, her spread shot is carrying my entire comp because of the 3 breaks, even though is 16 turns i think i might be able to make it farmable.
anyways your comp will help me on optimizing mine, (even though is a clear) thank you.

I auto farm this with other units but man this is a good strat ngl, and it's maybe farming doable too
Too bad that the wood Ex pick up is descnding step up because Iku and Scarlet Reimu are clearly great here.
I managed to do a farm with Epic Koishi, Takane, and Oracle being the main focus. It’s funny that the Takane and Raiko quests the devs released were the reason that I limit broke Takane and how I cleared Wood EX. Guess they knew what general friends can work here for breaks.
Now for my thoughts on Wood EX.
It’s actually refreshing to have no locks whatsoever in this stage. It’s good game design because it doesn’t force players to have cleansers like Yukari or Strategist Tewi.
I didn’t expect Kannagi and Otohime to be so resilient, Even outside of Otohime constantly granting 4 barriers and the focus mechanics on the gauges.
I somehow did it and made a 52 SP Farm that is currently being tested for consistency.
I think Wood EX is actually my favorite Elemental EX stage. It’s on a similar challenge to the Conflux stages, but it feels better to play.
Good job on your clear! Glad Rebirth Yuyuko worked out for you. I may actually try this kind of approach on my alt account that doesn’t have Bluemu or Epic Koishi. Medicine certainly is making a comeback.

and actually you're the first person i saw that likes wood EX, everyone (me included to an extent) dislikes a lot of things from this stage, like how they used unecessary amounts of evasion up and put enemies that have terrible tags to hit killers on. But in the end of the day if you enjoy it that's what matters

One question: can I substitute Yuyuko-sama with anyone else? I have Yachie/Takane as the only wood option (aside from EoSD Reimu and Medicine).
yuyuko's only role here is to nuke the second gauge which means you can replace her with a good wood nuker, yachie should work but if not you can also try some rebirth units like lily white or kaguya, or even some traitless LWs if they're strong enough, B2 junko is incredible here if you have her

just asking how many layers of evasion up does the enemy have, i want to use e1 flandre with A7 yuyoko to full break one of the enemies on the first turn but e1 flan skill 2 only have 2 acc up and A7 yuyoko skill 3 only has 3 accuracy up.
i don't really know the first gauge but many people said it's 8 levels so i'll go with that, last gauge i believe also has another 8, but you can stall that since it lasts for 2 turns, and only kannagi has evasion up apparently, so oto is free to hit

Personally i would replace reimu with yuuka
yuuka is probably worse here since she is more star than wood (unless if you're talking about H5 yuuka) but mayhe she works

Edit: Also about normal yuuka i think she could still be viable with her 2nd spellcard giving her 0.50 Power, and combine it with a storycard that also gives her more power. so she can use atleast use 2 power (plus her normal upgrades) on all of her spellcards so she can atleast break their barrier a couple times and use her last word when both characters are full breaked so her last word will do more damage.
H5 will definitely be better than L1 yukka though
Edit2: simplified: i would use yuuka (L1) to do extra damage after theyre both fully breaked. im not sure if this would work as i dont have the right chatacters to finish the stage but when i try yuuka (L1) still seems to be pretty affective still
how to use last word twice?? are there any skills to refresh last word?
Why did you remove the spellcard soundtrack for Medicine?
idk i removed a lot of my old characters's bgm on global, they've been like that for more than a year i think

I have stronger units than your team but I still somehow can't get 3 stars.
I finally cleared this with 3 stars.
All I had to do was spend Superior Sasora to increase Medicine's agility and replace Yuyuko (L1) with Kaguya (L80).

Medicine is the main star of the show, sadly I don't have Eosd Reimu, Iku and Yuyuko, but l'll try to clear it. I have Keiki but l barely touched her at all since I has focused on maxing Rebirth Marisa, is there any replacement for those characters?
you really don't need keiki to be maxed here, if she has enough lvl to unlock the 2nd AoE spell that'll be enough even if skills are lvl 1/1/1, but either way minoriko should replace her
rebirth kaguya/lily white should be able to replace yuyuko i think
iku can be replaced with yachie and a6 reimu should be replaceable by a7 alice
if you don't have any of these then just bring your best wood nukers and try to adapt ig
@@starsama l don't have Kaguya, l have Lily White but she's not rebirthed yet, l don't have Yachie and PCB Alice. The only one that could nuke and l could try is Beach Sports Reimu but I don't know how to use her since this stage is based on poison anomaly breaks
@@aloevera-pvz2 c3 reimu should probably replace a6 reimu, maybe even work better, don't mind the poison because you can't really avoid it so just play with it, yuyuko and iku should be replaceable by 2 wood nukers or even non-wood nukers if they're strong enough
b2 junko, maybe rebirth nitori/byakuren are some nice traitless LWs, you can also try relic characters, alice works incredibly well here if you have her
@@starsama don't have the Cringe version of Junko, l have Nitori and Byakuren but not rebirthed. And l don't have Sporadically Margaret Alice. Also Minoriko is outer garbage. I'm leveling up Keiki. And Yuyuko's replacement is Rebirthed Flan with every superior enhance maxed. And does Yuuka work here or not?

hey, if you're new to the game i'd say it's best to not look at wood EX for now but instead focus on the easier EX stages (like fire EX) and main story, if you need help you can check gamepress.gg/lostword/other/guides
also, not sure which character you're talking about but in lostword pretty much all characters are obtained via prayers (the pull system), the low rarity ones can be obtained on any banner, but for the high rarities you need to wait until they get a rerun and pull on their specific banner
Wood EX is the content that actually made me slightly interested in LW again, but seeing the stage details, this is disappointing. It really feels like an average "JP farm CQ" with extra steps for me.
understandable, if i was to say i had more fun playing JP CQ than this, although maybe that's bias for being a JP main

you can replace her with anyone that can nuke the stage, maybe your best wood nuker or just someone that hits killers and does a lot of damage

Yeah, I replaced her with MV Satori since her SC2 has a poison break at P3. I had to squeeze in an extra turn because Kannagi lived with hardly any HP after nuking her 2nd gauge, but it worked out fine! Probably not farmable, but I just wanted a clear at the very least, thanks!
Do i need a mlb koishi card for yuyuko? Is hecc replaceable?
no, in fact my own yuyuko isn't using an mlb koishi card since i don't have it on global
hecc can be replaced by anyone who can nuke otohime on turn 2, doesn't really need to be a ST lw

enemies give you a bomb item when they die, bomb item restores your LW (or a random spell card if you haven't used LW yet)
Can i replace iku yuyuko with someone else?
any 2 nukers should work, yachie, FR kaguya/lily white, relic units, b2 junko and even more
