Good day! I think this MIGHT just be the last piece of (typically cheap) brand new gear I'll be acquiring this year. That is also to say that this MIGHT just be my last demo for this year in favor of spending more time & having fellowship with loved ones for the upcoming Christmas festivities before the year ends.

Anyway...
But, I also do have a few pieces of old gear that I've kept along for almost a couple of decades now that I could somehow do some demo of as well one of these days. However, I still do prefer to keep this channel to mainly revolve around cheap & usually brand new gear that I basically find on the interwebs that quite interests me, just so to keep this channel more 'relatable' to those on the look-out in the brand new market.
There had been a long standing debate whether "tone is in the fingers" or whether "tone is in the gear". And there's been no better time to prove that than nowadays. Plus, 'marginalized' musical gear brand names from a decade ago (or more) had greatly improved these days already & yet has still remained at an affordable price range as well. Even some well-known musicians have already ditched lugging around large amps & rack effects in favor pre-amps & cab-sims that mainly came in pedal format...
The technology is already available & the quest for good tone at an affordable price range is quite possible now.
That said, ALL my demos as of writing are personally funded (non-sponsored) & neither do I fish for sponsorships as well from the pedal makers. 'coz I'd like my reviews to remain unbiased. Besides, I don't think companies would even dare provide sponsorships to a mediocre player like me either, albeit the equally mediocre quality of videos that I've been putting out as well. So consequently, I've typically sold some of the gear you've seen here at a loss already, just to keep the 'G.A.S.' going.
I've also barely touched my guitar since I gave up actively playing music back in 2013. And only the pandemic itself & also being able to more frequently stumble upon cheap gear from the interwebs has allowed me to spend a bit more time with my guitar all over again these days.
So...
