UHS-II cards would still have a big benefit when you come to putting them into your laptop/computer for file transfer / editing. Would be helpful if you put links to all these in the description.
Great video for someone like me who has just ordered the X100VI. Thanks for all the info. My essential accessories for my Fujifilm cameras are the Peak Design Cuff (wrist strap) and Smallrig Grip - both make handling a lot more secure. Cheers.
Great film - thanks. Have got the official Fuji adaptor and filter but cannot find any where telling me how to fit the adaptor to the lens and no thread is immediately obvious. Any clues please before I try too hard !!!
Hi, awesome video! So i have the following: - x100VI - NISI Filter UHD UV (As shown in your video) - NiSi 1/8 Pro mist filter - Original adapter ring Are there any way that I can get my pro mist filter on, and still be able to put the original hood on top? I also tried to both get the Nisi UV and the Pro mist on, but it doesnt seem possible. Any advide would be highly appreciated!!
Yes. The UV has a 49mm front thread and you can stack two filters. The hood will still go on for most CPLs and circular filters, but not VND that have a larger front thread.
What’s the difference in length between the filter adapter with the hood (option 1 - not including the hood) and the stand alone filter (option 2)? Is the latter a lot thinner? I am looking for the lowest profile option.
Hi Craig, probably only 3-4mm because the adapter is essentially a filter on option 2 whereas option 1 is an adapter and uv (so it also depends on what filter you use.)
Hey guys, just seeing if k&f concept or other branded filters (moment, glimmerglass, etc.) will sit flush with the NiSi adaptor meaning the hood can still fit on?
If it is just the Nisi UV adapter but not the kit. IE this one www.georges.com.au/products/nisi-uhd-uv-for-fujifilm-x100-x100s-x100t-x100v-black?currency=AUD&variant=42719198150823&Google%20Shopping&stkn=67cdf3d53d76&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA0PuuBhBsEiwAS7fsNX-3w0sH3XbKQiaAlsZYiEUuRmzw53WRtKiBgNGSLTtVsH8GcZnlUhoCuFoQAvD_BwE
i'm really confuse with the lens hood can someone help me, what's the best product to buy, i have seen dreamy filter with lens hood, but knew name of product.
Hey the lens good comes with uv filter which is made to protect the lens. I think the dreamy filter you are talking about is the black mist? That can go on top of the UV that comes with the hood. Or you can take off the uv and just add the mist filter. Please note without an adapter (the hood kit comes with an adapter) you can’t add filters to the x100’s. I hope this helps!
Does the hood adapter fit flush or does it have the same issue as the haoge adapter and square hood one, there's now a small gap, worry is it's no longer weather sealed 😢
Yeah I think we need a closer look at some of these filters as we have already seen that not all of the x100v compatible filters fit the x100vi properly.
Hey guys, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by there being a small gap. Testing the kit adapter, you take off the front ring standard on the x100, and then you screw on the Nisi adapter and UV filter; these both fit precisely. Next, you can push on the hood which dots to the Nisi adapter. We couldn't see any gaps and can't imagine that there could be because it's the correct size thread, and the hood is fitting to itself, not the x100m6 lens. I hope this makes sense and clears that up for you.
@@GeorgesCamerasTV haha thanks! i am just lazy and went to your information area for links and was like "Dangit! i now i gotta go find them myself" lol
An interesting video but not the best, or most thorough I have seen. There is NO speed advantage to using a UHS-II card in a camera that does not have the relevant contact points. The only advantage would be if you could get a larger CAPACITY card or needed a tiny increase in speed when transferring your images to a computer. Odd that you did not mention other accessories such as soft shutter release buttons. Thumbrests or grips from people like Lensmate or SmallRig. Nor did you let people know that possibly the best reason for fitting the filter adaptor and filter is that without them the camera is not fully weather-resistant. Finally, these are products, not people. They are not 'guys' or 'little guys' which I found to be a quite annoying habit of yours.

Finally someone showing some bags! Well done!
Thanks 🙏
We have now updated the blog
Post which links to more products and in do. 😅🎉

Great choices… ❤

I think you meant to call it a Peak Design Bag, you called it a Tenba bag. Other than that, thanks for the recommendations!
Sorry, they edited wrong. We do recommend the Tenba in the original recording. Both are really nice bags. Thanks for watching and appreciating. :D

Great video! I was wondering if the hot shoe was similar to the V? Ordered a Lensmate thumbrest from the V and I think it'll fit? Thanks!
The thumbs up is such a great accessory we should have mentioned however we didn't have access to it.
I believe it is and I think you will be fine. 👍
The NiSi filter system looks neat. Can you use the NiSi CPL with that hood or would you need to remove the hood to adjust the filter?
Yes. The UV has a 49mm front thread and you can stack two filters. The hood will still go on for most CPLs and circular filters, but not VND that have a larger front thread.
That camera is beautiful.
Great video. Does the lens hood combo weather seal the lens aswell?
Great camera...now to choose black or silver? That's my internal debate
Do you use filter while trying on the long weekend pouch? Can it fit with filter or cap?
Thanks for the Heads-up on your recommended accessories. You covered all aspects inc lens protection, cards, bags etc. very informative. Cheers.

I would say so however the adapter comes with a filter so you wouldn’t need to buy another filter… 😍
nice viedo!!! thank you!!! :))
Hi.
where can I find the close up adapter?
Thanks.
Galli.
Hey Galli! Here you are: www.georges.com.au/products/nisi-close-up-lens-kit-nc-58mm-with-49-and-52mm-adaptors
Does the leather case still fit if you have an adapter + filter on the lens?
If it is just the Nisi UV adapter but not the kit. @@GeorgesCamerasTV thanks so much!
the x100VI lens has an extra thread, using x100V accessories leave a small gap.
Which tempered glass can cover the new x100vi screen? I bought l armour it doesn’t cover all the screen of x100vi which can you recommend
We just tested the Kenko and it fits 100% although the Kenko isn't a tempered glass.

Can we have the links?
Links in blog post that has a link in the description... Enjoy and thanks for watching. 😊
Speed freak/tweeker production values.
Were we going too fast? A lot of acc to fit in. :)
You need more structure with a video like this. I recommend you put the product name on the video while you are talking about it.
why wouldnt you put the links in the video lol
My bad… but review blog is linked now where you can find them 😂

i don't see the hood listed?
Wait, the hood just slides on?
It does really nicely too, once you have the front adapter on…. So if you want it on and off its very conveniently changed.
