The Witch and The Saint - Steven Reineke

This ten-minute tone poem in one movement consists of five unique sections that relate the story of twin girls born in Germany in 1588. Beginning with a Gregorian chant melody, a variety of musical magic is employed to depict the stormy lives of these often misunderstood women.
