This is a day for doing the washing and a day for brewing best bitter and it is a rainy day, therefore tomorrow might be a salmon angling day.

Wieder ein schöner Fluss sind in Irland ja schier unerschöpflich da macht einem der regen auch nicht viel aus und wenns mal nicht so toll läuft kann man auch davon träumen und die ruhe genießen grüsse aus fürth von Gerhard
So ist es, Gerhard. Das war der nasseste Juli seit es Aufzeichnungen gibt und der August sieht soweit auch nicht besser aus. Macht aber nichts, hoffentlich bringt das viele Wasser noch ein paar Lachse und Meerforellen in die Fluesse und Seen. Viele Gruesse aus Donegal und alles Gute.

@@gerhardschwarz7666 Nach den letzten 4 Jahren oder so kann Deutschland sicher eine gute Menge Regen vertragen. Hier regnets immer noch, were am Wochenede mal wieder versuchen einen Lachs zu fangen. Alles Gute und beste Gruesse.

Hi Dietrich, when you do manage to use this coldsmoker, would you share some details in a video? I am quite interrested. I have one of them coldsmokers for 7 years, and it is still in the box... I was planning to build a proper cold smoke room, but never had the time. They say you can put this smoke generater in a large Barbeque with dome lid so the temperatures stay low... I was planning to smoke cheese actually. Last year before Xmas, Lidl sold cold smoked rainbow trout and it was actually nicer and juicier than salmon.
There you are, or as Ray Robinson used to say: almost anything tasts better than salmon. Will do a little movie on using the cold smoke generator. All the best and thank you for watching.
