Jiddu Krishnamurti described awareness as a state of pure observation without judgment or interference from the mind's conditioning. He emphasized "choiceless awareness," where one observes reality without preference, and without the division between the observer and the observed. True awareness, for him, means seeing things as they are, free from the influence of past knowledge and beliefs.
