I have wanted a Breguet for many years. To me they are truly a work of art. I had been in St. Petersburg over twenty years ago and went to The Hermitage. After I got home I saw an advertisement in a magazine about Breguet with a photo of the large square outside The Hermitage, and it had a quote from Alexander Pushkin of a man strolling down the boulevard until his Breguet reminded him that it was midday. The watch in the advertisement I believe was a Breguet Dupuis Alexander Pushkin alarm watch. I still want one of those.
After I posted the first part of my comment, I looked and there was a review here on what I’m guessing was the same watch in the advertisement. The Breguet Classique Alarm Le Reveil Du Tsar. I’d love that one.

Love this model line. So underrated. The regular model trades at about 14k. Several thousand cheaper than a basic Patek Calatrava but so much more interesting.
