@@professorvalk Sure. Only problem is you will only be able to play within a certain range, similar to a capo. You also won't be able to other chord structures. I recommend just taking breaks when it hurts if you want to play something harder or don't want to play without it

Both sides of this comment section are right. I don't think people should train themselves against learning to do the chords themselves. However, this is a FANTASTIC accessibility tool for people who have physical limitations.
This product is great if you have hand issues permanently or temporarily and just want to enjoy the experience of playing guitar or practicing strum patterns
Everyone saying "oh ive had a guitar for x number of years amd only know a couple chords. i need this." Grab your guitar, look up chords, practice, and play your guitar. Otherwise youre just saying youre lazy witbout saying youre lazy.
You aren’t a virtuoso if you use that. I’m a pianist and violinist. I was a child prodigy and I have perfect pitch so it was much easier for me. But talent only takes you so far. I did incredible amounts of practice to be where I am now. Don’t use that thing.
@@JamesOBeirneas a trumpet and oboist, if you got disabilities then it's fine. Don't want to gatekeep people who actually need assistance when playing a guitar. Not everyone is trying to be the best, music is for people to enjoy.

I have a friend who has some problems with his hands and he still does it normally. It’s taken him years to get good and much more practice than normal. He still did it, I see no reason for the others to not do the same as him.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. If you can't play Am, C ,G (this video isn't where the audio is coming from, wrong chords) then you sure as hell aren't going to be at a level of ability to pick the intro to Don't Cry.
This is the very opposite of what you need. If you are struggling then keep practicing, it will come to you.

As much as I like this idea, I feel like it takes away the point of learning guitar in the first place.
