In theory yes, however all the sides help hold the bed together so I don’t think the bed surface would be stable enough for the baby. It would fall down.

Does this crib have a higher setting? For newborn easy reach ?
The two levels I show on the video or the only levels. We use the top one with our newborns and it was ok for us.
