I haven’t kept up with your channel, because honestly I left the HS fandom back in 2019 and you weren’t uploading much back then. I thought about this channel two days ago and just happened to find it again tonight and the shock I have to come back to is insane. I’m so happy for you. You look like you’re happier too. Your Homestuck cosplays back in the day inspired me back in high school to create my first ever cosplay. I hope I get to see it if you do start up again
I am literally speechless wow!!!! I was a huge huge homestuck fan and cosplayer/cosplay fan and I was actually just showing my partner some of your old videos that I loved as a middle schooler and I am just !!!!! holy shit!!! This sounds so amazing and you sound like you’re so happy and you being a parent is such a huge joyful surprise :( I wish you nothing but the absolute best; thank you for making my younger years
It's so great to hear what's going on again! As for cosplay suggestions Pokemon, Miraculous ladybug, and doctor who have been the main 3 I've seen for family groups at cons in the past (personally I would go with pokemon because it's pretty timeless and has no group limit). Although I would always be very careful at cons because they are still quite loud and it can be very ovewhelming for an adult, much less a child. As for my own cosplay, I also have only started going back to cons since last year and they are definitely very different. I miss my groups who I will probably never see again but I also finished some handmade cosplays over the quarantine so I'm very excited to debut a princess serenity cosplay for next year. I also have a homestuck group planned. It's crazy to go back to your first cosplay after 8 years.
I feel you on conventions! I hadn't been since 2019 until this year and they are definitely a lot smaller in attendees, but people are more concious about being sick and staying home. I've also noticed an increase in the hotels/venue spaces being a lot stricter with their rules especially regarding outside food/drink. I did my first cosplay in years at this one as Toriel, and while I didn't see as many cosplayers, I still got a good amount of photos and met some familiar faces. For group costumes, definitely Pokemon as that is a classic that never goes out of style. Homestuck to call back to your roots (and a baby Dave Strider would be very cute) I'd love to see Doctor Who, Steven Universe, Undertale, and maybe Five Nights at Freddy's with the new movie coming out. A big bad wolf and three little sheep are popular for families, or Big Bad/Three Little Pigs. The classic Baby Pumpkin is always cute, and I've seen the Incredibles, and Scooby Doo popping up in recent years for group costumes.

I have been a very long time fan and I am so happy with how far you've come, and I'm so glad that you're doing better than ever before, could you come back to doing some Steven universe cosplays?
Cons are a lot worse at lest in the UK. My friend who's younger than me and still goes regularly got assaulted by security the last time she was there for trying to go to the toilet. And another friend of hers was inappropriately manhandled the same day. Quite glad I don't attend anymore. They're also booking over building capacity.
