41 is an insane amount for one day, honestly I really wanna know how you crochet SO FAST! This would've been a week of work for me if that's all I did

For sure practice. I'm currently working on a bikini and I'm going super slow as the yarn is a bit finicky. It is easy to loosen the fiber structure it makes sense. And it's super easy to poke through with the crochet hook and pull on the fiber. So when I do the teal stripe I go fast. Then I do the white one and go super slow trying my hardest to not pull on the fiber by accident. Took me some time but at first I remember being so frustrated I thought I had to go back to the store and get a new ball of yarn alltogether because it was so fiddly.
41 squares is not much?! Giiiiiiiiirl With all that running around I'd be making 3 maybe 4🤣

Part 2 & 3 for sure, more content means more crocheting time for me. Do you know how difficult it is to find a video that im able to get into crocheting fr. with adhd. But in all honesty, thank you for helping us survive our own crises, being relatable and low-key the inspiration the artsy need to get out of bed struck by an idea of a thing to crochet. thank you for being that trigger for us.

I love when I see your videos when they're recentlyish uploaded because it feels more like hanging with a friend. Also, girl, definitely get a yarn winder. It's so worth it. Mine was $35cad on Amazon, and it's been worth every single penny for the amount of time and sore arms it saves. Plus I'm a center pull girly for life, so if a skein isn't working out nicely I can just take like 2-5 minutes to rewind it nicely and it honestly saves time in the long run
Also, also, I don't have a yarn swift or umbrella or whatever that holds the hanks, but I have a stool I attach my winder to anyway so I just put the hank around the legs of the stool, and works really well tbh.

i would for sure love to see parts 2 and 3. as much as i love watching one long video, it can sometimes be a bit much on both ends. i also like the idea of a video for accessories and a video for clothing. i can't wait to see those videos in the future! love you so much❤

thanks for the unexpected tip on how to wind up hanks without an umbrella or a winder. I've been putting off buying hanks until I can invest in both of those, but if knees and arms can do it... yippee!!
as many parts that are as long as possible! i get deterred from shorter crochet videos just bc i love seeing the whole process and not just bits and pieces (plus i crochet along) long form content is the way to go for sure!

Knee yarn swift is something I haven't expected 😂😂 But it's still faster than how I do. I only have a small plastic yarn winder from Hobbii and no swift so I just hang the loose hank on the back of the chair and wind it on the winder, but I have to pay attention all the time to the hank so I always end up spending 40 minutes winding one hank which sounds insane haha. I should try using my knees

I fell asleep at like 4 tonight because I was done crocheting by 2 but I was riding off the high of my acheivemnts. You made me go and buy bikini yarn, yes I got 100% microfiber yarn made for bikinis. I think it's two varieties by mondial (I believe they're an italian brand) called Brazil for the teal shade and their summer line (summer is literally the name of the yarn) from my trusty yarn shop in Italy that mainly sells their yarn. It was 5,50 a ball but you only need two for a classic bikini. Yesterday I finished the bikini bra (minus the weaving) and I was planning for some high cut bottoms which was frustrating until I found a way. Except I decided to have my colours change every three rows to make a decently chunky stripe. So weaving as I go is a must. But I have so many tails I have to tuck in later or cut. And I've only done a small part by the crotch. I figured after looking at etsy listings that one specific seller must start at the bottom for some panties to make them high cut. Honestly afterwards I watched a video on here, then I got scared because my ass still gets scared of thunders at almost 23. But luckily we had two only and I managed to sleep finally.

Love this video but can you expand on what you mean by acrylic not being good for wearables. I use it pretty exclusively and I love it but lots of people say it is not good.
You can join them as you go along and it avoids all the weaving in.
