My dad was much like yours. I will never forget when he would say “I appreciate you “. When your dad said that to you. I wanted to cry. My dad was 90 an died in 2017.
Grieving is a difficult process. As natural as it is one would think it would be easier to process, but It’s not. When you don’t know how to “move forward” it’s nice to have an example to follow. You’re doing this for your viewers. Even in the most difficult situations you teach/mentor the rest of us.
Love seeing what those boys will come up with next to build, and it definitely is a special thing that they have the freedom and the where with all to do what they do! Also love seeing the family work together to work through not just the normal day to day chores but especially in the hard times as well, you guys are an inspiration and encouragement to the rest of us for sure! God bless you and your family.
Wow! They Brute-Forced that hay bale up high onto the truck bed. Way to go, Jonah on your new office and the truck. whoo-hoo! Grandad/ pop-pop left a wonderful legacy, as will Justin. Justin and Beauty’s legacy is clearly Papa and Mama, as well as the fruits of their homestead labor. And it’s all on (digital) film.

I lost my grandparents a few years ago and it still hurts but it does get easier to go on day by day and do things in their memory
