I have the same boat but a 1999. Same 7.4 with a Bravo 3 outdrive. However, at 3700RPM I am at 27MPH on the GPS and at 4200RPM I had it topped out at 35 MPH. Why the difference in performance?
@@paulcharby5720 At 4200 I was topped out but at 37 MPH Speed over ground. I subtracted 2 MPH for the current. Im still wondering why the difference in performance? I will admit I was low on fuel as the tank weighs in over 700 lbs at full. My guess is the boat in this video is underpropped. ???

Nautical miles per hour compared to MPH. Plus maybe a bit of current.

@@AnomalyTKRad777 could be under propped or maybe have some growth on the bottom.
