'Twas a great one, yes! One of those 'once in a lifetime' events. Thanks Greg, and sorry you couldn't be there. This is the next best thing though, ;) and they sound great!
I know what you mean, some do have a special meaning... and a lot of memories come back. Have a great evening, catch you tomorrow as I have to do a few chores, one being some shopping. Take care.
Jessica, you could cut them some slack. They are not 22 years old here. And when you've performed the same song a zillion times, lots of artists change the tempo and tenor to some degree. That goes for Sinatra, Tom Jones and even McCartney who has plenty of backup to support him on stage.
U cannot expect them to sing like they did when they were 20 something! I think this performance was great! U dont even do certain things like you did at an earlier age. Its called evolving!
Glad you enjoyed - appreciate it !! Yes, going on 21 years ago - they were great.
We were all different 21 years ago, still love this!
It's now 31
I was only 3 when they performed this in 1989 :( but i still grew up listening to their music :) RIP Phil Everly!
ifuckhoes Ummm no that would have made me 3 years old in 1989. Was born in 1986
😳😳😳😳😳
Would love to have been at this concert.

Lol, it's a favourite of mine too - glad you enjoyed - cheers !!
What a huge influence they had on early R&R and everyone who followed. Voted #1 duo by Rolling Stone in 2015.

Only the Everly Brothers as harmonized together as one voce.
Many tried, didn't they?
💙
Never thought a musical group could destroy their own song, yet this is proof you can.
I agree. If it ain't broken, then don't "fix" it.

I disagree Jessica. I've been listening to them since 1957 and prefer their later performances.
their singing the songs to fast, not sure why they changed their version..

Great but too fast.
It is fast and the harmonies are not what they were
The everyl brother never had drummer or bass player
WTF (Way. Too. Fast.)!
There are obviously 16 totally ignorant people on here.
@58doggie Absolutely brilliant - always loved it - thanks and Merry X !!
