Been playing a variation on ball and I haven't lost to any of the top 16 decks so far. Only deck I lost to out of 15 games was koschey by 2 points and I didn't draw into ball. It's very strong the past few days. Might even try out GN NG poisons for some laughs.
Interesting. I have played against a few ball/status NG lists this season but not had any trouble dealing with them yet even in lists that don't have heatwave. Have a list to share? I'll give it a go!

Hey, new follower as I started Gwent Mobile a few weeks back. Love your videos but as a new player I spend half my turn working out what my opponents cards do. I can't wait until I have a better understanding of the mechanics and cards. Currently only play Monsters, haven't even completed the other factions first page on the rewards book yet.
Welcome to Gwent! It's a huge part of Gwent to understand your opponent's cards and strategy so realising that already is half of the battle won.

@Lion Hart thanks! I'll continue to watch your videos and might jump on your Twitch if I get a chance. Although I don't have a lot of the cards that you use it's good to see them being played so I know what to expect if I come up against them. I unlocked Sir Scratch so I'm playing a Thrive deck just now with mixed success.
Hi there, I’m newer to the game and can’t find where it explains about the reward book.
Why am I unable to click on any icon in any faction?
I have 32 keys but when I click on the first icon to collect a keg by paying with a key, it won’t do it . What am I missing or not understanding?
Do I have to be at a certain level? Right now I am level eight.

The Temple is such a strong card, I hope we see a nerf eventually. Just recently I was bleeding my opponent in round 2, was up 30 points and passed and he played 17 point Anseis for essentially 30+ points. Lovely if you're playing it, frustrating and cheap when you're facing it.

@@LionHartCards Yeah, it's an interesting concept because you're sacrificing tempo and potentially making your consistency worse + there's some RNG in play. Were it not for the fact that NR has two strong dueling units, it'd probably be fine. But seeing massive Anseis or Seltkirk doing massive swings with basically no setup is just super frustrating.
Yeah.... Might be better if it "boosted by the number of Gold cards in your hand." It'd be pretty mean to take away any buff considering the lack of tempo. As an aside, to me, Seltkirk feels so redundant - it's an inferior Anseis in every possible way, no?
@@RickReasonnz He has a higher base power and can be run in Golden Nekker lists which is what diversifies him but the Formation keyword on Anseis definitely makes him a superior card in most lists yeah
@@LionHartCards I kinda wish they'd repurpose Seltkirk to give him a new identity in a new patch.
quick question: how to counter Nilfgaard as they steal my most powerful cards thrice a game. Isn't that insane ?
Ng's ability to steal doesn't hurt this list really. You are playing value and carryover and they can't target your core of points because they're in the Erland, that is immune. Bait them into stealing cards that are worse overall and play with the awareness they CAN steal things. So buff cards up above 6p to avoid the leader. The 3p steal options are basically useless against you in this list anyway. Try playing the NG list yourself for a while and you'll see how the steal can be good but also played around by a lot of decks
