The mountain scene on the Azure jars is Mt. Hood which Azure operates part of their farm on the east side of Mt. Hood Oregon.. There are a lot of fruit orchards in the area especially North of the base of Mt. Hood, the soil is very good for growing as Mt. Hood is an active volcano. In fact there is an awesome view point where you can see Mt. Hood, Mt. Saint Helens (what's left of it) they are actually pretty close to each other.. I enjoyed your seeing your Azure haul.. Have a blessed day and happy preserving!!
You mention packaging up and storing the apples in your fridge for fresh eating, is there a specific way you store them for the best longevity for fresh eating?
@@Mel-vu9ss I've read online people saying don't peel just blend it all up, but I find the skin woody and chewy so I peel. I do use a cheese grater sometimes and if it's a big piece only peel half and the other half of the peel is left behind and protects my hand lol

New to your channel and enjoyed your video. Love the chair in the background 😊
Welcome! I love having seating in my kitchen, makes visiting comfortable ❤️
Wahhhhh ! Now I need Azure jars!
Ada County here!
A question about your ginger. When you chop it up to freezer it do you peel it or do you leave the peeling on?
I peel

They won’t be around long so I just bagged and twist tied them. Apples go quick around here :)
When you chop your ginger are you peeling first or chopping skins also?
I peel, use a spoon!
@@thispreparedlife I do. Lol. Just was hoping there was something I didn’t know and didn’t have to peel 😂 Thanks!
