My man was always having mental health problems. So he decided to drop his weight to further his mental and physical health bc those 2 are hand in hand. His weight is a big factor on why he was the best power forward in the game. With his 6'8 height and heavy frame with a lower center gravity than other PF's (in addition to impeccable rebounding instincts made him top tier. The change from minesota where he's a first option to the cavs as a 3rd option was a big change also.

I know Dwight Howard is an extreme example, but because of how well he stays in shape he is still a very good backup center this late in his career and any team would love to have him.

Young Kevin Love was very similar to Nikola Jockic, except his special strength was rebounding and not passing. They both looked/look kinda fat and pudgy, both can back you down in the post, both can shoot the three ball confidently. And both are very likeable in media interviews

Kevin Love was a monster in Cleveland his first two years, the stats just don’t show it. He stretched the floor for lebron and kyrie to attack the basket and create their own plays. Not all things show up in the stat sheet. He also became a lockdown defender in the ‘16 finals and had steph curry in JAIL every time they tried to put pick and roll to get the mismatch of curry vs love. In game 7 there was the block, the shot, and then the lock from kevin love. His jersey will be in the rafters in Cleveland no doubt.

My man was always having mental health problems. So he decided to drop his weight to further his mental and physical health bc those 2 are hand in hand. His weight is a big factor on why he was the best power forward in the game. With his 6'8 height and heavy frame with a lower center gravity than other PF's (in addition to impeccable rebounding instincts made him top tier. The change from minesota where he's a first option to the cavs as a 3rd option was a big change also.
Every pf/sf when playing with Lebron they start to regress Bosh was a Dino in Toronto but when he joins Bron he turned into Barney Love had a Jokic kinda frame in minesota but when he joins the Cavs he become a lightskin Kuzma was a beast in 2017 when Lebron joins he became a Meme waiting for Anthony Davis😆

I know Dwight Howard is an extreme example, but because of how well he stays in shape he is still a very good backup center this late in his career and any team would love to have him.

Minnesota K-Love was my favorite player in the league. His rebounding and post offense was refreshing as the league was shifting to big men shooting more than banging in the post. I’m happy he got a ring, I just wish Cleveland utilized him better!

Young Kevin Love was very similar to Nikola Jockic, except his special strength was rebounding and not passing. They both looked/look kinda fat and pudgy, both can back you down in the post, both can shoot the three ball confidently. And both are very likeable in media interviews

Kevin Love was a beast! A walking double double and major clutch player. Sacrifice alot of his game to win a chip which he did with the Cavs.
I use to look at the stat lines he would put up in Minnesota and he stunned.. even more stunning was his body change to play with Lebron and the cavs. Very unselfish.. and his game did transfer over.. he was good enough to become a 3 point shooter and totally shift from a defensive rebounder.. actually COMPLETRLY different player

Love wasn't able to reach his full potential because he was the third guy on those Cavs teams and wasn't able to improve his overall game at the most critical time in his development/his peak athleticism. Then he got major injuries and is now a shell of himself, so that ring really came at a cost.
I remember checking the best PER in the NBA and saw Lebron and K-Love being far ahead of everybody else and we are talking Heat-Lebron. Till then I never realized how good Kevin Love was and finding out that he was 6´8 all that time when he grapped 15+ rebounds makes it even more impressive.

I didn’t know Kevin love was so good. In Cleveland he seemed like a spot up shooter like jj redick. I looked up the stats of Bosh in Toronto and it seems like the same case. I’ve always though lebron makes his teammates better but I may have to rethink. During this research, I found another crazy stat. He was an astonishing rebounder,at many offensive rebounds he managed to finish with one hand while fending the defender(who was fouling him) with the other. Kevin Love was a monster in Cleveland his first two years, the stats just don’t show it. He stretched the floor for lebron and kyrie to attack the basket and create their own plays. Not all things show up in the stat sheet. He also became a lockdown defender in the ‘16 finals and had steph curry in JAIL every time they tried to put pick and roll to get the mismatch of curry vs love. In game 7 there was the block, the shot, and then the lock from kevin love. His jersey will be in the rafters in Cleveland no doubt.

Dude was an underrated beast when he was on the 2000’s Clippers. He didn’t get a lot of recognition because the Clippers were usually terrible and the power forward position was loaded with talent in the 2000’s (Garnett, Dirk, Duncan, Pau Gasol, Rasheed, etc)
