I had a terrifying encounter with Marcus in Akron, Ohio, which is my hometown, and where he had relatives. I was walking home from church on a Sunday afternoon, with two friends. He was leaning over a fence glaring at us. As we got closer he began shrieking and shouting obscenities. We were so frightened, we ran across the street. I made a point to study his face, because he was staying up the street from my mother's house. Years later, after having moved to New York City, I saw his photo on the front page of The Daily News, and recognized him as the guy who went berserk behind the fence on a Sunday afternoon.

As the service came close to its end, the Pastor, Rev Curry, came to the microphone to sadly announce that Mrs King had been assassinated at the organ during service at Ebenezer. It became so silent and people just sat there. A few people cried out loud.

If there is any kind of leadership representing Black Israelites, they should address that within the organization. If not, then you have nothing to say about what conclusions people draw from what is repeatedly communicated by other means. That goes for any organization. If thieving evangelists were all there was to formulate a position on the Christian church, it would be a logical conclusion that there were no objections, and that this was an accurate portrayal in general. But you will find NO Christians stupid enough to flat out deny that it's a problem. We know what problems plague our Black communities too...we would be fools to pretend that they don't exist. @@sonicdash761 It’s creating division in the community. They know that “Black Hebrew Israelites” watch their videos because they had the leader of one of the sects in one of their videos. Not only are the trying to get a reaction out of them, but they’re also pushing a sort of narrative against them by generalizing them like this. Especially in light of the Kyrie and Kanye situations. If their message really is about unity, this is definitely not helping.
