Welcome
Another great short video! Thanks for doing these. I learn something every time.
Welcome
I may have found a use for Form.Recalc. I have a form with a few sub reports that are fairly calculation heavy, they're based on queries with many Switch and IIf statements, and are based on some subqueries for getting a field Min/Max. Form.Refresh and Form.Requery are fairly slow, with perhaps about a second to finish the calculations. Form.Recalc on the other hand is much faster, about a quarter second. I'm not sure I know enough about how Access works on the back end to know why they're so different. Recordset.Requery is also faster and seems to be about the same as Form.Recalc.
I work in a fortune 500 company manufacturing facility, Access is used as a website for employees to sign up repairs for our shop, when a customer or ( employee) enters a special character our website freezes and we have to call computer services as we dont have admin access, can the special characters/special words be blocked out?
Thank you so much your videos! They are a great help to me.❤
Welcome
Sir Thanks a lot big problem solved
Most welcome
I see MS somehow integrating Python with Excel, do you see that happening in Access also?
Excellent Video Mr.RR
Thanks
Always enjoy your videos! When I use the macro design, it seems that refresh and save do not work.
Well that's not good
Very informative... Thanks...!
My pleasure
