Absolutely epic toilet I remember finding a date on one of the other Richmond fixtures and I think it said 1950 or something. The urinal is called the Dawes by the way and these came from the same church as my 1981 Kohler Highline.
That Spaulding is awesome, but it definitely doesn't seem to work too well with just 3.5. lol I haven't seen a Dawes on YT from what I can recall, so I can't wait to see yours in action.
Wow, what a find! It looks like a Standard Madera wannabe from a lot of angles lol! Great toilet though! I think the springs on the seat are meant to put some resistance on the hinge so the seat won't slam. You have to push it down or it will just stick where it's at. It's called a check hinge.
This toilet is absolutely amazing! I think these have two concealed siphon jets because both my 1955 Richmond Claremont and 1966? Rheem tank toilet have two concealed jets.
The Richmond Spaulding toilet is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life absolutely incredible, treasure, epimazing, majestic, legendary and beautiful. Absolutely satisfying flush with the pressure turned all the way up turning it down and flushes as if it was on a tank
On the outside, it kinda looks like a “Standard” Madera. I would have to assume it dates from the mid ‘40s to late ‘50s. Glad you obtained the rare urinal. :)
This old Richmond toilet is epic! The flushes are amazing (even on 3.5 = this toilet probably was a 5 gal) and it still siphons when the pressure is turned all the way down (basically how it would flush it it had a tank on it).

Beyond epic Spaulding and that urinal too! Absolutely epic finds!

I believe all toilets before 1970s used 5 gallons, maybe some used 3.5
What a cool toilet and urinal to add to your collection. These are definitely from the 1950s. I bet the urinal flushes similar to a “Standard” Casal.

That is absolutely legendary. Job well done
Thanks
@@Aaron.Michael welcome back!!
This thing definitely needs 5 GPF. 3.5 is barely enough to make this thing siphon.

It resembles an old American Standard Madera.
Epic toilet i want a pink richmend toilet
