So in order to get salts you must craft them with 1 vibrant gem, 1 pluripotent alloy, and 1 stardust, once you get these you can get the 3 types of salt being biotic, aromatic, and antithetic. Biotic makes it so your potions give no positive effects, Aromatic makes it so when you throw them they leave a cloud the has the effect linger in it, and Antithetic inverts the effects of a potion, a example would be going from a mindbreak potion to a heartening
