thank you for speaking for the swords🌟 i always think of lilith in connection to swords: cutting cords, standing clear at your own side, be honest with your own issues
Before watching: swords I feel are about communication with self and others, conflicts with self or others, the 3 of swords I usually see a betrayal of self or others. I will comment again with my "after" in a reply to this comment
I'm getting 7 of swords for few days now and had no idea why it was popping up so much but this helped me to not think that dramatic about it showing up. Might be exactly about my excessive thinking 😂
I've never had too much of an issue with Swords but I have always liked the Air element and sword imagery. Two of the big themes of the suit are enlightenment and clarity which are both very important to me. I also use the Spacious Tarot which I think helps a lot. It has gentler imagery and descriptions than a lot of decks, which was definitely the right choice for me personally. The theme of the deck is immersive spaces that you imagine yourself stepping into, which makes swords much less intimidating because it inherently frames you more as the wielder of the sword rather than the target. There's still an element of danger, but the focus is more on seeing the swords as tools for cutting through illusions, severing harmful bonds, protecting yourself.
I like that perspective, it's really empowering to think of yourself more often as the wielder of the sword than the victim. But yeah, with the traditional Rider Waite Smith images, the interpretation doesn't always work out that way.
@@AnyaEsma Sometimes you're the one holding the sword, sometimes you're the one at the pointy end. And sometimes you're both! I love all the interesting symbolism of this suit, especially when you look at how different decks treat it.
I love your explanatory Tarot videos, they are very insightful and go deep. Thank you! I would really love a video about linking the cards in a spread together, as this seems the most difficult thing.
Thank you! I do have a few pick a card readings, where I interpret cards together as if it was a real reading. Maybe that's helpful. I'll also probably relaunch my Patreon soon, where I'll do more general readings, pulling some cards and interpreting them together. 😌
It’s kind of crazy that the ten of swords in the teddy bear tarot is a stabbed and bleeding bear (hello, what about stuffing?). Some of my most darkest decks don’t have blood seeping out of the wounds. 😮

Reframing to less dramatic issonething I'm working on as I feel like the swords are just one part in any reading. 😅

Oh gosh, never seen that deck but that's brutallll. 😭 I never thought about it, but yeah you're right, a lot of decks don't show any blood.
Before : 9 of swords. I always go to nightmares, 3 of swords always lessons. After: looking at the context, not the most important card.
Not this video popping up right after I got a 3 of swords this morning 🫠
Love the synchronicity 😂 Hope it offers some interesting perspectives!
