I'm surprised by your openness and willingness to discuss and promote alternate bricks like this. Personally, I've been tempted by a few MOC builds with alternate bricks for display purposes, but don't want to pollute my parts collection with non genuine parts. The colour variation within a single order is also cause for concern for me; although I agree with you that it works here by adding patina. Not sure I'd feel the same if I'm rummaging through my parts drawer and finding lots of shade variation; it's hard enough having faded vintage whites and greys already. heh.

Fear not the parts have been tightly quarantined!!! And yeah, a bit of a left-field look at the other side of building. Personally more interested in the designers than the bricks, but looking at the landscapes, castles and other things possible if I were building a large scale moc it could be something to think about. This video was really an opportunity to explore the bricks building world a bit more beyond the norm and hopefully create some interesting content.
