    Nice vid! I'd add that *learning* your letter pairs is important, rather than just making a list - making it can be very useful for improving your pairs (particularly weeding out bad ones) but it won't do much unless you actually put in the work to learn it. Also for twists/flips, I don't think dedicated algs are particularly necessary if you use orozco, since shooting to 2 sides of the piece will be a similar speed as an intuitive setup to a 2flip (in both the cases that you showed, I think the Orozco solutions are actually *faster* haha)

    • @JavaCuber
      @JavaCuber  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think I said that making your own sheet would help you be familiar with your letter pairs but I should have made it more clear that you should actually LEARN them yeah
      yeah I should have showed better examples for the 2 twist/flip lol. Or at least set up the UF-BR 2 flip to UF-UR using an R'. I just wanted to make it as simple as possible but it's probably slower in those two cases

    • @cookierobber
      @cookierobber 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JavaCuber I mean you could have chosen better examples yeah, but I think the overall point is just that it doesn't matter much if you use Oz. Edge flips are gonna be 2 comms either way, and it's not like the Oz algs are particularly long to begin with - so if your setup is unergonomic or adds moves at all, it's gonna be a very marginal time save (if it's even one at all). For corners, D face twists are only 1 or 2 moves longer than twist comms so those barely save time either. For U face twists I'd say the good algs *are* worth it at this level, if only because they work exactly the same way as the normal UFR-UBR 2twist

    What about Turbo edges, OP UFR corners? (And ECCE)

    • @JavaCuber
      @JavaCuber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      there are other methods, but the ones in the video are by far the most popular. ECCE is considered to be worse than CEEC since you want to do as much short term audio as you can, and edges are longer than corners. Also, I think dealing with parity is a bit worse with ECCE.
