I played this song for my cat last Sunday. I only had her for six months, but being our first pet, me and my girlfriend loved her like our child. She used to annoy us by taking swipes at our faces in the morning so we could be woken up and invite her under the covers with us. It turns out she had a blood parasite from before we got her, that very same Sunday she stopped eating and stopped moving for the most part. We took her up for treatment a few days ago and left her telling her that it was gonna be fine and she was going to be better. We had no idea at the time we should be saying our final goodbyes. She was too anemic at that point and passed overnight. Before we discovered the parasite I thought that this song had made her depressed for some reason, but now the last memory I have of her healthy and happy is of me purring as I pet her and we listened to this song together. I'll never forget you Poppy. We buried you under a tree we know our children will grow up around. You will always be a part of the family. I cant imagine loving another cat as much as you, but I know you'd want us to share our love with another in need. I hope the six months you lived with us were better than the year and a half you spent abandoned. RIP Poppy.
I'm a grown up 30 old man, but this music put tears of love into my eyes. The cat I'm fostering came to me curios of what was going on, then curled up on my lap and started purring calmly. This is so deeply touching, thank you so much for this moment we just shared :)

I fostered her until she gave births 2 kittens. But something came up and i had to go for a month to my old house. So i had to leave them. I was so sad, afraid that they would starve. Then i came back and search for them, they were nowhere to be seen. I was lonely and missed them so much. And i remembered this song, i started to play this. And they came to me. I cried from joy to see that they were ok. And they missed me so much and circled around my ankles.

Makes me think about all the cats I've loved and cherished, from birth to death, and how I loved them with all my heart, always, from craddle to grave... has me very emotional. Then she just kinda stared at me with her eyes half closed and we had a cute heartfelt moment. I think the purring combined with the clock ticking reminded her of her mother.

Miss Chessie is sleeping again and as I bring the smartphone to hear ear with very low volume her purring is louder than the music. My husband says she's 'dieseling' like the time it takes for a diesel engine to warm up. She's my son's dark tortoiseshell rescue cat with metallic green eyes, and when he brought her home she quickly found a place to hide. We didn't see her for a few days. When she was found all we could see was her grin, like the cheshire in Alice in Wonderland. Sometimes she's mischievous Miss Chess.
I played this for one of my cats and she settled down in my lap, ready for a nap. I'll have to see if my boy likes it too. I could see this becoming a daily "treat" for them. BTW, I find it quite lovely too.

Miss Chessie is sleeping again and as I bring the smartphone to hear ear with very low volume her purring is louder than the music. My husband says she's 'dieseling' like the time it takes for a diesel engine to warm up. She's my son's dark tortoiseshell rescue cat with metallic green eyes, and when he brought her home she quickly found a place to hide. We didn't see her for a few days. When she was found all we could see was her grin, like the cheshire in Alice in Wonderland. Sometimes she's mischievous Miss Chess.

I played this for one of my cats and she settled down in my lap, ready for a nap. I'll have to see if my boy likes it too. I could see this becoming a daily "treat" for them. BTW, I find it quite lovely too.
