Her masterpiece
I've never been a fan of acoustic takes on songs that were simply powered by strong emotions befitting that of a rock song.
This, this is brilliant. It 100% captures the song incredibly well and she sings it just differently enough to still convey all the emotions of the studio version. When you think that's enough, the band dives in and the finale is like the studio version.
I saw her live once in person, and have both the live dvd's done during her 1sGave me "Evanescence-My Immortal (Band Version)" vibes with this live version (and I did see her live once besides onwing this and a dvd done b4 this too) and actually wish when bands wish to change up a song live they should be looking to what was done pretty much at the same time period for influence.
Your first paragraph.. makes no sense...an acoustic version powered by emotions is the WHOLE FREAKING POINT !!
