I saw this on mad tv when I was like 17 I think. I'm 34 now. I remember I was literally went numb and just watched in awe at a truly beautiful person with a beautiful voice
So now I'll tell you why Avril is always going to be the only one for me. I remember myself as a little boy listening to so many songs, but I was too young back then to know who the artist was. I just listened to the songs and enjoyed them. I was too young to understand english but the music itself and the voice were the too important points, what made listen to songs. Soo some years passed and then I realised suddenly, that all of the songs I'v been listening to were all from Avril Lavigne. I searched for more and today I now every single song of hers and understand the lyrics. This song is so touching and describes in some way my feelings. She has so many meaningful songs and at the same time also songs just to enjoy. So even if I wasn't there in the beginning (I was 6 in 2002 ^^) I'm so going to be there in the ending

Most of the time I listen to dark trap, rap and industrial rock but her first two albums are two of my favorite albums of all time, the lyrics are so relatable to me.
2018 and it still gets to me every time. The acoustic versions of this song (my favorite is this one) I feel are so much better than the actual studio recorded versions. The was she’s so soft spoken during the chorus is so good and moving than in the studio one. My favorite girl with a guitar she just needs to release her music she’s working on right now :’)
