I actually wash the hair with a little bit of conditioner I or just leave it damp and I use sponge rollers you know like the old-time sponge rollers and they work really good to keep a curl in a doll's hair!

I wouldn't use the poster putty but I know people have used this clear, silicone ear plug putty u can use on kids when they go swimming.
