    Absolutely would love to see more of this. I’ve had the tools and supplies forever, but never had the courage to try anything. You make it look amazingly easy, so I’m ready to give it a go! Thanks so much, Brittany, for sharing your talent!

      Thank you for this great video tutorial. I've had a box of 2 Part Silicone Putty for ages and I think it still works, so I'm going to try making a mold with it. BTW, my Silicone Putty is by a different company and the coloured part is yellow instead of purple, but it should work the same way right? Love from Amanda in Australia

    I've learnt to just put the containers in the fridge or freezer for a short time before working, because i'm not in a race to do anything in 3 minutes.... The warmer they are the faster they cure.

  • @LorenasChesed1beads

    Oh Britney I made a mistake, the one I have is Blue Moon studio UV resin craft creation, it's silicone craft maker. It says; silicone can be used over and over again. You melted silicone beads. You melt then press an object into it to make a mold, then you pour UV resin into it. Put Uv light 1 min done. Then pop it out.

    I truly appreciate your time and sharing of this video on molds !!! My Dad( whom has passed ) was an artist n made molds out of plaster Paris which I have. I would like to try to use them, I’m just not sure of all that goes in to it. So any info you can share would be great!! Thank you !

    Thank you so much for sharing this tip with us..
    I would like to know if the molds are soft after they are cured?
    I once watched a video of someone making molds and after they were cured, they were soft which makes the removal of the molded piece easier to remove.
    To give shine to some of my jewelry pieces, specially polymer clay, I use Minwax (water based) .. polycrylic protective finish. The quick drying type.
    Susan from turtlebeadsoup TH-cam channel, uses mop shine protective finish to give shine to her polymer clay creations.

    So happy you're doing poly clay! I have way too many beads to justify purchasing more but I would really like to have more organic/tribal/african type beads. I have lots of poly clay and am trying to figure out a way to make them. Maybe you would think about this? Thank you!!!

  • @karenthomas2302

    Wowzer I now know what to use for this, I was just going to do this with the polymer. lol BTW I found hobby lobby is doing their own polymer now. At least here in California I have found some, down fall it’s not the same amount as say premo or fimo 2oz bars it’s only 1.75oz I think, but it is only $1.45 so I’m giving it a try, I know Michael’s polymer is pretty good and mixes well with others and bakes up good. So we will see. 🤷‍♀️ and Goldie I’m so glad momma has fed you and you can wake up now, and smile for the camera. lol silly pup. Tfs hugs to y’all.

    • @TurquoiseStreet
      @TurquoiseStreet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I saw the new clay at hobby lobby and read an article at the blue bottle tree about it! Get the “advanced” kind if you want to use it in jewelry. It is almost a 100% dupe for Fimo Professional. The craft type will not be good for jewelry 💕

    • @karenthomas2302
      @karenthomas2302 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TurquoiseStreet I’m guessing the news on it is new where I am, didn’t see no advanced, only the regular stuff, but will keep my eyes open for it. Cool beans thanks for the heads up. Yay lol

    • @TurquoiseStreet
      @TurquoiseStreet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@karenthomas2302 they look almost identical! One just has the word advanced on it.. i don’t know why they have to make the packages so similar 🙄
