A great tip for cover install is to extend the pop out cleats in the front and hook the cover access points for the cleats over the cleats to help hold the cover in place as you cover the rest of the boat. Could vary by cover style and cleat access points installed on the cover.
Great job. Its been several months for us since it was stored. Your walk through the touchscreen was very helpful. I will be saving this as a reminder on how to use it. Thank you
Amazing video, could you possibly do a walkthrough on the 2020 Super Air Nautique GS20. Love how in-depth your videos are, thank you for making such high-quality videos.
Always great informative video. Also if you could do any more informative videos about 2020 Supra 400 would much be appreciated. Keep up the good work!!
You’re def super knowledgeable with boating which makes me confident in asking you, for first time boat buyers(never been boating before other than 2 times) what would you recommend for me to do. What are some steps I should take because it seems like there’s a lot that goes into buying a boat, owning a boat and operating a boat. I really want to buy a boat because 1) it’s fun 2) I enjoy being on the water 3) my little one enjoys being on/in the water and I kind of want him to grow up in being in one and so on and so forth.
Before you pick what type of boat, figure out what you want to do behind it! If you want to wakesurf, definitely a V Drive. If you want to waterski, a direct drive is better. Just cruise around and maybe tube, an inboard/outboard or a jet boat would work well and be less expensive. Pros and cons to buying new vs. used - with new you will pay more, but it will have a warranty, so no unexpected costs. With used, you save money initially, but could be inheriting someone else's problems! Other costs/things to keep in mind, regular maintenance including fluid changes, winterizing, etc., insurance, storage, and tow vehicle. Good luck! And welcome to boating!!
Just sold our 2012 A22. Loved it, no complaints. Now looking for a new budget boat in that 22ft long boat range. If you had 80-90K what would you recomend? Makai, Kayian, A22, other??? Whats important to us is surf/wake wave, storage, finish quality, longevity of parts like vinyl and velcro parts.
I love the wave on Axis and they have come a LONG way since your 2012 in the fit and finish! The Moomba boats do feel a bit more plush on the inside, and I really like the Kaiyen wake straight out of the box, but the way the surf system works on the Moombas, as the boats get bigger, they like a lot of weight for a good wake. I think you would be stoked with either brand, just depends on what is most important to you!
Just found your videos today and subscribed!! From the NW myself and my newbie question is in regards to the length of a boat like this. For example the Kaiyen is 21.5 ft... does that include the swim deck in the back?
I have a 2014 moomba mojo. I surf on the left side. I know that the left and front ballasts should be all the way full but what do you recommend for the right ballast? I heard 80% Thanks!
Great videos, your boat launch video was great. Can you do one for docking? I car park fine when its perpendicular but when I have to go straight in I have a hard time sucking the stern back in. If the wind blows me out. Even more so when it's on the starboard side. I would really appreciate it!
@@ChantelBoats I found that video and it is great be the way. The dock I park at most you cannot come perpendicular too it. At lake whatcom it is two docks and you have to go straight in and dodge a pole at the end before you slide it. I have problems bringing my stern in and it's not wide enough with other boats to flip is around. I have a 2018 moomba crazy btw
What dealership do you work at and where are you located at? Im from Colorado and I’m looking into getting a newer used moomba mojo or max brand new. Seeing what you have in stock or available. Thank you
I work at Active Water Sports in Portland, OR. We don't currently have any used Moombas in stock, and we aren't able to sell anything new outside of our servicing territory. Have you checked with your local dealer on what they have available? I will keep you in mind if we get any used Moombas in!
@@ChantelBoats awesome what do you have in stock? Moomba or Supra wise? I’ll check out your website as well. I’m trying to purchase within the next few months before summer for a surprise gift for my girlfriend and kid. I have 10k for a down payment and everything
Are there any 22'+ boats in the Moomba line that will clear an 8' tall garage door with the tower folded? I am still perplexed at the MAX height with the tower down. A friend as a 2017 Supra SA450 and it fits...barely. Thanks
Yes! They just made the Pro Tower an option on everything except the Max, so with that upgrade, you can get the Craz (22 feet), and Kaiyen (21'5") in an 8 foot garage!
Chantel, thanks for the videos. Were looking to get our first family boat. I have 4 kids with minimal experience, 3 - 14 years old. Everyone says their boats the best, seeing that you have reviewed both the Moomba Max and the Axis. What are your thoughts between them? Were considering the Max or the A22. Each day and the more I talk to people continues to change my mind. Typically were on the lower Colorado river and water depths can be 3 - 10'. Thanks
Oh man, either one would be so great! I would try to sit inside of both of them so you can get a feel. I really love the adjustability of the Axis wake, but the Max feels super comfortable and roomy. You would be stoked either way. The Max will be less expensive, but I think the A22 is worth the money!
It’s typically a 2 month process, but right now??! Things are crazy and dealers are selling out of inventory! If you want a specific model, it can take longer for sure.
Chantel Herbert what do you think of the Regal LS4? We’re a first time boating family but do want a boat that is comfortable for 5-6 adults + 6-7 kids. We will tow floats and maybe ski a little. Any recommendations to look at?
Hi Ashwin! I honestly don't know much about it. Looks like a big boat! But it would be great for cruising around and tubing. Skiing wouldn't be the best, but you could definitely kneeboard and wakeboard! Good luck and welcome to boating!!
Chantel Herbert thank you so much. After doing a ton of research I may actually go with the Moomba Max though of course I’ll try several boats. We’re not in a hurry but the Max seems like a great bang for your buck kind of boat!
Chantel Herbert I’d love to get the Supra SA400 if my wife will let me splurge but like I said, we have time. As someone who’s just getting into boating, I’m really learning and enjoying your channel. Please keep up the great work!!
If you are only surfing, the 400 would probably work, but if you wakeboard and want to be able to get up on plane when full of ballast, probably worth the upgrade!

Very informative! Thank you! If possible could you maybe do a video on a Centurion.
This was great, thank you for the video.

I know can't afford that boat but did watch the video

@@ChantelBoats Thank you!!!!
Can you please do this on an Axis?
Great video! Have they improved the Bimini design on the newer models? That is one of the more cumbersome Bimini designs I have seen.
It's still the same. Great coverage, but a bit of a pain to put out (as per usual ha ha)
Are they using Kevlar still to help with strength and weight like the old 1989 Supra tsm6 ski boat?

So glad to have you! The 21.5 ft doesn't include the swim platform.

When ordering a Moomba what’s the typical wait time before it’s delivered to dealer? I’ve read 1-2 months but we’ve been told up to 6 months.
