  • The DC-2 aeroplane credited as being the first 'modern' passenger plane to fly in Australia is prominent in Daryl Gibbs yard.
    The Bungana is an all-metal monoplane aircraft that was reliable and able to traverse large distances. In the 1950s it was converted into a caravan in Essendon.
    The Australian National Airways airliner is impressive, and its history lives on thanks to the RAAF veteran, Gibbs, who owns the now wingless aircraft.
