Goodness! So many women I have met who have mental health problems following an abortion. It was so easy and they got no counsel beforehand
Some doctors do sensitively offer the truth about the humanity of a tiny embryo and offer crisis pregnancy counselling referral. Women self refer to BPAS locally who have the NHS contract. I dont think there is much expectation of discussion although we are told there has been ' Full' counselling. I pray for all the women I encounter who are considering abortiin and many choose to continue their pregnancies.
The most dangerous place for a baby to be is in the mother's womb.
