    Mi juss mek some. I didn't realize that they should sit that long in order to set. The first time I made them was for my daughter's school and i remove them from the foil paper too soon. Great results today.

      I had so much compliments on the drops I made following your technique. I did 2 cups each of coconut, water, & sugar and everything thing else you stated. That made 6 drops. I doubled the recipe and they are perfect, just like back a yard! Thanks you sooo much for sharing.

    You can heat the coconut low heat and use a table knife to take it from the shell .so you will not have an accident

    How much vanilla do you put in? Is it really 3 1/2 cups of water? It looks less in the video. But they came out looking delish!!!

      It's a large pot so 3 & 1/2 cups will look like nothing lol

      I've never used my Le Creuset for this but I just might. It retains heat well so it should be good

    How long do you boil the coconut for?

      About 40 minutes. Less water = less boiling time

    The weakest point on the coconut is around the top. Tap it lightly round and round. Easy to break up into pieces from deh Suh.
