  • Yet another head scratching custody case.
Mom seems to be over protective and wanting to control the situation...Dad is former military and may have some lingering problems, along with being easy going and lackadaisical. Either that or he is an evil genius trying to screw everyone over, including his other kids and the IRS.

She's just being snarky for her own entertainment. Technically, there is nothing to object to, which is the only way to legally make it stop. She's just obnoxious, and there isn't a jury to annoy. The judge is only there to rule on objections based on law, then make a decision since it's a bench trial.

He's allowing it because she's absolutely correct. She is being as respectful as she can be considering the man you're out here sticking up for is an abusive liar who lies, and who is bending himself in knots in order to avoid giving a straight up, honest answer. He's a barely functioning drunk that's brought this whole litigation about out of pure spite and malice towards an ex who's seemingly done nothing but tried her best to ensure he's got every opportunity to spend time with their child. She didn't deserve to have her whole life (and therefore also the life of this child he claims to care soooo much about, go figure) disrupted for this nonsense. His lawyer is arguably even more nasty. She tried to imply Mum has a drinking problem, meanwhile her own client is sucking hand sanitizer right off the wall while mum is in labour.
People really do be so afraid of some imaginary "epidemic" of evil women abusing white men in the court system, when that is so rare it's unbelievable, that they'll publicly defend the most pathetic men the patriarchy can produce and not even feel a little bit embarrassed about it.. The weapons formed against us have truly prospered 🙈

I really wanted to support this man's position, but can't. In addition to his mental issues & alcoholism, he blatantly lied about having so many properties, and either doesn't understand taxes enough to file them on his own, or has commited tax fraud regarding those properties. Tax softwear requires you to make an account to use it and will recreate any lost information assuming you weren't smart enough to print a hard copy every year to keep. He is embarrassingly unbelievable. And regarding living on the water, that water is a Florida canal, often containing alligators, snakes and vegetation that would make it hard for an adult to get out of. Mom is right.

The fact that he shows up for visitations with his daughter drunk or falls asleep during the visit resulting in the daughter falling and hurting herself is more than enough reason for mom to be concerned. And yes, she chose to date him knowing he was an alcoholic. She was only putting herself in danger during that time, now she has a daughter to think about. It would be irresponsible for her not to think different. Finally, she hasn’t and isn’t denying him access to their child, she kept him updated throughout her pregnancy and after.

Mom testified that he does not smell of alcohol when he visits, so no he doesn't visit the child while drunk. And if I had to sit in my exs house to play with my child after driving 16 hours from Florida, I may be sleepy as well. Besides let's not pretend that these sorts of accidents don't happen to parents all the time, mom is hanging with kids and takes a nap, answers the phone let's the dogs out, whatever.

I think this is not fair to the father. He always came up to visit and she refused his visitation. His service has been used against him. So the Mom can refuse the father to be on the birth certificate and can request visitation and because the trial has been put off for over two years Mom has had complete control of visitation, Mom gets credit for having the most time with child. Charges against him that haven't been proven are held against him. An officer who has been fired for lying testimony against him had been used. I usually agree with this judge, but not this time.

NOBODY but the daughter said father was abusive, with absolutely NO proof, she was caught in her prom dress lie, in her texting lies, she said she tried to use his properties to leverage against him, it didn’t work, go back to first video she said it quickly. Ex wife, ex gf. Never said he was abusive, he never said those crazy bs comments about their mother. He simply wants to know his daughter, have time to make good memories, be a little part of her life. My Mom & Step dad were tricare, great health care I think but yes he has to have paperwork in COMPLETE ORDER,, we had to help get my Moms paperwork for tricare AFTER they got married! Hospital will wait to sign BC, she could have called him there! Tricare is govnmt, most all doctors accept it. The mother wouldn’t LET him to take the baby anywhere, screechy questions are irrelevant, she wouldn’t let him visit her, ONE time he left, this frickn atty makes big deal out of one thing. Father would make a good dad. The child won’t walk off the yard into the FRICKIN water! UGH. The mother is hovering over his visits,,,How would he show anything that way?? She is using her soft, I’m so sweet & good & my child should stay at my breast,,voice! How could he afford to travel every week to visit? INSANITY! Judge is WRONG, it’s proven Dad didn’t drink all the time, my father & step father were alcoholics, start at 10am, all day, this wasn’t the Dad. The man's atty is a jerk. His memory is so crystal clear when it comes to what he wants to remember, but then it's always an issue when it's inconvenient to remember. HOW THE HE11 DO YOU GO TO MEDICAL SCHOOL WITH MEMORY ISSUES?
He denied paternity but wants to cry fowl now. Tri-care will not allow a woman to just add a child.
7 trips just up the coast for a day or 2 cost him 20,000 to go to Tennessee 🤦🏼‍♀️

I was so ticked off with her that I had to stop the video and tell my daughter how horrible she was! 😡 Once I vented to someone I calmed down. 😂 As for the judge, he’s much wiser in these cases than what I am so I can’t really be upset with him, however, I didn’t like that he denied the name change. Sometimes men really get the raw end of the deal when it comes to child custody cases. I just hope the father will make some changes in his life and prove that mother wrong and eventually be able to take his daughter to his home on a regular basis. Poor guy is going to be paying out the butt between driving back and forth each month and renting a place to stay, and child support on top of that. 😳 oh well. You reap what you sow.

Lol, insanity with nitpicking!!! Using the fact that his river front home doesn't have a fence as a reason why his home is unsafe is absolutely insane. Arguing that the child could run out the front door or backdoor and into the river is nuts. If you're watching a toddler they shouldn't be able to run out the front or backdoor. What I don't get is if he is an adult without any children, what is wrong with him drinking regularly? I don't see anything wrong with an adult that is retired drinking daily, and going out. This wasn't with any children present or under his care at the time. I have known people that would drink heavily going to bars every day, and then not drink anything or go to bars when they had custody of their children. What someone does as a single adult doesn't always reflect when they have a child in their custody...

Ms Roberts needs an etiquette class bcuz all that yelling is disrespectful and uncalled for. She’s questioning him about EVERYTHING except for his daughter. The PI is following him and of course if you follow someone to a bar you’ll see them drink. He didn’t have his daughter in his custody so he’s free to drink and do as he pleases. Her client doesn’t want that man around his child without her hovering. I wish his lawyer would’ve questioned her about smoking during pregnancy (and her being an NP with FIRSTHAND knowledge of the harmful effects from smoking during pregnancy) that’s wayyyyyy more dangerous to the baby than dad having a drink in when the baby isn’t in his presence. Virginia judges, at least the ones in Virginia Beach are more fair to fathers, right from the start. Our daughter wanted to move back to the county we lived in, about 1.7 hours away. The judge was having none of it. He ruled that she had to stay in the county she had been in, for the last 4 years. The judge also ruled both had to submit to drug/alcohool testing. The baby was a year old, by this time, and on food, so Dad got 3.5 days per week, and she got 3.5 days per week. They lived fairly close to one another, so that was easy for the child. He had more money, and since she was getting EBT, and medicaid, they made him pay support. I know that our daughter was unhappy about not having total control, and he was unhappy about having to pay support, when he had him for half the time. Be careful what you wish for.

I need to stop watching these. :-). dad clearly is not perfect and is trying to find his way into retirement and I believe his attorney was pretty horrible. mom‘s attorney was a bulldog, annoying as hell, and just downright crass and rude. this is just my opinion, but I always believe on a scale. Mom‘s always get the benefit of the doubt and they always start off by the time the baby comes out of the ole holy birth canal that they get every issue tilted towards them and that a dad has to work much harder just to get back to equal. it is my opinion that he is a good dad who needs to settle down in life and I think the mom is scared, insecure, and wants to have control.
I love your channel. I just walk away sad a lot. :-)
every time I watch these, the only time a dad loses is when mom‘s a drug addict, or does some other horrible things. Two good parents does not equal equal parenting. It just doesn’t work that way in America.

I can't remember much of the first trial so I know I am missing a lot of context for why people don't like the Mum. But if the things being said are true then I have some concerns for the child. Alcoholism, domestic violence and military style punishment (with potential force) are all things that a kid should never endure.
At the end of the day I hope the things being said against him are lies and that he gets to see his kid regularly and that everything goes great for the kid.

If he cared so much for his daughter he should have retired closer to his daughter. He chose to move far away. The judge is not going to have this young child travel this distance every week to stay with the father. Generally the judge will order 2-2-3 visitation and this will not happen here.

He didn't move far away, she did. He was stationed in Fort Rucker in the south of Alabama. They hooked up in Alabama. He was already off and on living in his house in Panama city FL which is about 90 miles south of Fort Rucker. Mom moved to Tennessee where her family is. Nashville is 375 miles north of Fort Rucker and 455 miles north of Panama city so it wouldn't have made a huge difference for time sharing. Regardless of who moved and how far, if he wants any chance of any 50/50 visitation, he needs to move a lot closer. Also, if dad can only afford to visit every 3 months, how is he going to afford kid pickup and drop off every 2 weeks even if the judge were to allow it?

Thousands of children grow up in homes with a waterway in the backyard. Only a judge in a landlocked state would make a point of that.

Why are you taking up for the father ?? Do you have children? I was young and had a child with a man that was an alcoholic. I went to court and made it so he couldn’t take her . This man is an alcoholic.

Moral of the story…don’t have sex with an alcoholic. Now someone is brought into the story and suffers in one way or another because of your choices.

I think Meg wants us all to express our honest opinion. We can respectfully disagree because we all have opinions based on life experiences. The most disturbing thing I heard in this case was the father put his 11 year old daughter kneeling in the corner with her nose to the corner. You heard of these tactics being used by the military to prisoners. You do not do this to a child.

Meg, This one burns me up. I've already posted this on my wife's and my Minds "entryreqrd" channel, and throughout the morning I will be posting it on several LawTube Locals accounts. The law is very complicated, very biased for many reasons. State legislators have stacked the deck, there is unequal accountability IMO, good judges are bound by the biased legislature, others go beyond and legislate from the bench which is wrong. As a layman I was really POd this morning going through the entirety of this video and it was the 1st time I felt really aggravated by Judge Wolfe's rulings; but having followed Judge Wolfe for a while I think he was ruling with what he had with Tennessee Law. Tornado season's coming in that region, and I leave it up to chance that that wicked witch screeching penguin will look up and see a house coming upon her, and I hope a dog looking like Toto will lift his leg upon her face. -Mr EntryReqrd
Scream... BS bias against father according to Tennessee law. 39yo nurse traveling city to city, state to state in RV(there are words in French not permitted on YT for this type of activity). 39yo nurse working full time reengages with old boyfriend from 20 years before. She gets knocked up for the 1st time even though she was married prior and was 2 hours late for her 1st wedding. I did not get a feeling of stability from the Mom in this case.
It irritated me to no end that Mom's screeching evil penguin lawyer wasn't wearing a top hat and smoking every time she came ranting up to the podium. It further aggravated me that unsubstantiated allegations of alcohol abuse, and DV were made without objection. This man had primary custody of his now adult children from the previous marriage during their formative years and they soared, academically and socially. The older daughter in her early teens rebelled, and was disciplined, moderately. I am from a different generation. It would not be uncommon for me to sit on my knees with my nose pressed in the corner for hours on end. It would not be uncommon for me as a child to have soap raked across my back molars top and bottom and throughout my mouth if I said a word that was not deemed appropriate. It was not uncommon if out and about at family events, church events, cultural or public events if my behavior was deemed inappropriate that I would be required to hand write various citations of Emily Post. I'm from a different generation I'll say again. We were not spared the rod. If we did something wrong my brothers and I were lined up, explained what we did wrong, told that we had been previously explained what the punishment was for breech of these transgressions. We were told all standing in line to drop trou and bend over. We would be whipped with a belt, depending on the ominous snap of the belt we wouldn't know until then which belt we would be whipped with. In the early 70s the worst one was the really wide 3 grommet heavy leather belt. Sometimes we looked like people that were attacked by the salt creature in that Star Trek episode. This was common practice. Society now has determined that this is barbaric, and now we have several generations wandering the streets aimlessly without any direction or purpose in life or any ability to care for themselves. During Obama's administration multiple government agencies did massive exercises to combat the zombie apocalypse. Read the news, I think in many ways we have reached the zombie apocalypse. I watched the sci-fi movies as a kid in black and white, I see little difference in what's going on today in some cities than what I saw in the black and white TV movies and what I saw in the drive-ins.
This father knows what his ex-wife allowed his once remarkable daughter devolved into; he clearly does not want his very young out of wedlock daughter to not have his proven parenthood to be deprived from his young child being raised by a wayward soul.
I believe Judge Wolfe was bound by state law and statute. I find it infuriating, but that is what the legislatures in Tennessee have ruled, and that is all Judge Wolfe can do. This is so frustrating, and so common throughout our nation.

Doing this many hours watching a single court case is something I'm willing to do to learn court procedures and the issues at hand that are somewhat significant in society.
