Vim makes one of those seats that you can poop in😂 the seat has a lid and you can put plastic bags inside to catch your turds. But good luck finding a plastic shopping bag that wont leak if you happen to get any residual #1 with your #2
One of the very 1st videos of yours I saw was the one featuring the stool, I bought it off your recommendation, been using it ever since, been watching you ever since. Really dig a channel made buy a regular service tech guy, who understands what service tech guys do.
Those pop up seat options are nice. I use them all the time as a mobile mechanic. There is a version that fits into this small table that folds up with it inside. They are a pair made to fit into eachother. Its super portable and very light. The table folds out into a small short table and the seat pops up, and you get a little portable work station. They have versions that support up to 500lbs, so there are some heavy duty versions out there available.
The pop-up seat only lasted one week with me where I work. One of the tabs that lock in broke off and then it escalated it from there and I officially fell to the floor LOL
Some of the fuses have notches on the blades, that allow you to use a fuse to pull a fuse. Place one blade on each side of the old blown fuse, twist and pull.
As a carpenter, the main drawback of mechanical carpenter pencils is the fragility of lead and how they don't really survive rough service (ie. the tool belt or bag). However, the carbon fiber reinforcement you mentioned might improve this. I personally use a wood pencil called the Tri-Rex. It has a squared triangular shape, but a thick round lead that can be knife sharpened (as almost all carpenters do) to a precise point that is much harder to achieve on the big flat style carpenter pencil. Since all of my fellow carpenters beg/steal these from me, I know they're preferred, especially for finish carpentry where precision is important. Just my 2 cents, but that mechanical pencil you showed seemed great other than the lead being quite hard by the light quality of the mark.
Ive got one of these pop up chairs from a company here in Australia, and they primarily make camping gear, so the one i got has a lid that opens so you can put a plastic bag inside and use it as a toilet as well. While its at home in between trips its a drink table next to the couch. Ive never used the toilet part of it but the idea is cool. Might even use it as a camp rubbish bin
@12:34 brother I’ve been down that road and it was a miserable all day experience of swaptronics. After that day I bought 3 test lights so I am absolutely certain I have one to use before using a multimeter.
Thanks bud. If I can manage to not be sick or getting better from being sick this month I’ll be doing great 😜 I started off this month with a cold and I’m just now getting over the flu 🤦🏻♂️
Agreed, seems like they rate these things at a weight that it would just about hold under perfect conditions, evenly distributed, perfectly flat floor etc.
That magnetic laptop shelf looks great but ninety bucks for the bottom of the line? I’ve hot a couple oak planks, some hinges and magnets around here somewhere…
I'm curious about that pencil but I'm not planning to give up my pica dry. I generally carry 5mm, 2.3mm, 2mm, and 0.5mm graphite atm though... a good 1mm would be nice.
The guys would always laugh at me for carrying my seat around with me but my knees are past their prime and working in the telecom industry kneeling on the wet ground with live 49 vdc sometimes up to 110 vdc made for a jolting experience, especially when you add ringing voltage. My buddy got one of those seats and it only lasted a few months. I just picked up a bucket with a lid, and not one of those blue or orange play buckets they sell at the hardware stores. Those ones work for a bit maybe a bit more for the little guys. They end up slowly collapsing leaving you on the ground. My seat was a 5 gallon paint pail which is made to hold up being banged around and not leave a trail of paint. Plus I could store extra supplies I need for the job inside. That knife pencil seemed like the lead was a but too hard to give nice dark marks, it looked like it was cutting into the wood. Why does it need to be breakaway? Wouldn’t you just wear it down and then advance another section?
Same issues with thoes expandable stools they all crashed on me if there is a good 9ne I'd buy it. I currently use a az folding garden bench the side fold in 60 to 90 bucks. That works great to get the tool bag off the ground mini table and a seat. There fairly small too I think you'll like one if you try a golding garden bench stool. No shame on the laptop holder if it helps you make money it's worth it within reason. The sharpdraw has a model that has wood on the outside of it feel good better than that cheap plastic.
I modified the Performance Tool W83116 Multi Angle Quick Connector Clip Tool into the Vim VIMV232. It kinda sucks. Especially dirty connectors and body clips but a quick blast of WD40 usually does the trick.
If you don't do anything that requires Microsoft Windows, the iPad is one hell of a device. Best touchscreen in the world and battery life is like 10 hours. With that old Thinkpad I bet every job is a race to see if you can finish before the battery takes a shit.
@@FunkFPV You are using the wrong tool -- if you crush the "hairs" with a precision FLAT nose pliers -- they pull out with NO pain. (Nose hairs have a "nerve"in them -- squeezing them will deaden the pain)😢😮
When I started construction I could throw down a 16 ft 2X4 across a small stream and walk across. One of the last jobs I was on we had brackets at 10ft on a bridge abutment and I broke a scaffold plank. Too many beers and cheeseburgers.
G'day, I've had bossescomplain about all the "gadgets/Tools" i had in my field service truck. However they kept sending me out to fix all types of things. Had some bosses come "On Site" a few times. They soon appreciated those same items.
Dude shows up to work on a forklift with his own desk and chair. More power to him.
Just needs to bring in his own cubicle dividers and a 'Hang in there' cat poster.
Haha That takes up a lot of space. My shop guy does the same thing.
This is the most entertaining, informative guy I've found on TH-cam/Instagram.
Thanks 😁

"You throw 400 pounds of Butt on this tiny circle, I want to see that show!!" Never fail to make me laugh💯 There ya go!!
I love how you said holiday weight
new years resolution I'm sure.

That first batch was good. I wish I got 3 of them back then.

I’m going to see if I can find that in case this one falls apart

I had one that lasted a week or so. And I bought a more expensive one and it has lasted a few years now.
The chair and body clip pliers are goofy, that laptop stand is awesome.
Those look like they will help us old men out.
Thanks for the suggestions!

They have this new invention for a cheap portable stool. Its called the 5 gallon bucket.
It's my preference!!! 🤠👍
That what I’ve been doing.
the snap point pencil is actually a better idea than it looks like.
That’s what I thought 👍🏻

Pop up stool is neat. Like as a person with some holiday weight on myself I'd worry about it breaking too, but neat idea.
The laptop shelf seems like it would be very useful, but a more than I thought it would be for a plastic folding shelf and some magnets.
That’s one of those things that I’m not sure I would’ve bought if I didn’t have TH-cam adds to help me pay for it 😬
That desk looks awesome, Thanks for sharing!
Nothing wrong with an impromptu shelf/desktop. Handy when you need it.
Lisle has some neat connector pliers, check tools 37960, 37980 and 37990.
I’ve seen those. I might pick a set up and give them a try.
Telescoping stool? Hmm, 5 gallon bucket. It may not collapse but you can carry stuff in the bucket.
Perfect! My old man will love some of these.
I've got several of those that double as a tool bag, lunch box, parts washer and ice chest.
They're called buckets!
@12:34 brother I’ve been down that road and it was a miserable all day experience of swaptronics. After that day I bought 3 test lights so I am absolutely certain I have one to use before using a multimeter.
Funk is the man! Been watching you forever brother Glad your doing well God bless you brother

Love the gadgets!
That last one needs a cup holder!
I just use the CD drive 😎👍🏻
I wish you'd done this video before Christmas.
If I was good at TH-cam I would’ve 😜
2:30 “Holiday Weight” 😂😂😂 bro same
I blame my sister. She cooks too good 😁
@ mine too. I just show up to eat and hand out compliments 😂
Thank you for another great review! Just ordered the stool.
Good luck with it 👍🏻 Drop a comment in recent video if it gives you any trouble.
I say “recent” because I’ll be more likely to see it.
Holiday weight. 🤣🤣
I'll be using that for the rest of my life. 😄🤣
I goes on easy but it doesn’t like to go away 😜
The Harbor freight push pin pliers are one of the best $8 I ever spent.
I'm not sure I'd trust 400 lbs on that thing but it seems like it'd do ok for half that.
Agreed, seems like they rate these things at a weight that it would just about hold under perfect conditions, evenly distributed, perfectly flat floor etc.
@ferrumignis exactly. Good luck if you don't have a pristine floor.
That retractable seat could possibly have built in thrust vectoring for awkward moments
Haha Or a muffler 💨
Collapsible stool just doesn't have the same ring to it! LOL!
TIC “TAC TOTE”, a winner…
Thank you sir.
I bought that stool also. 😊 I carry it in my trunk.
that magnetic shelf should be good for the side of server racks too
Yes 👍🏻 You’d think they’d put a little pull out shelf in those racks.
@@FunkFPV yeah you can get them, but not everyone does.

It’s pretty cheap. I think it’s like $11 in the states.
I'm a sucker for gadgets as well
Get yourself a Pica Pencil, rock solid and will take abuse, refills are cheap. Wont be without one now.

16:00 careful stacking the magnetic part in direct contact with your electronics
I got one of my techs a collapsible stool. He's a tall thin guy unlike me 😂

Thank. I like that Sharpdraw tool. That there is an old ThinkPad at 15:41.
They’re great laptops for work. The one I had before was 10 years old running XP 😜
hope you don't come to regret replacing those insulated pliers you had with the non insulated body pliers....
Nice video
I was thinking about getting that stool, but my 5 gallon bucket might get it feelings hurt

iPad for diagnostics?? Ima have to research if that’s viable for me.
I got a tablet. I just prefer reading PDFs on a laptop.
I saw Rhino USA makes one of those stools that says 400lbs capacity
That’s one of the other companies I was thinking about.
How can you review old man tools and not test a nose hair trimmer? I think Ryobi makes one.
LoL I just yank those out. I like the way it makes me cry 😜

The Vim big guy version is really good. My 350 lbs fat ass feels safe on it.
😂🤣😂😂 i thought it was a tape measure 🤨
Haha
5 gallon bucket good seat.
I bought my seat from your video and I’m not on Tiktok.
Not on TikTok is a good move 😎👍🏻
Hey Wes, what causes a Toyota 8fgu25 to mis-stage most commonly? I know you're a Toyota expert. Thanks
99% of the time it’s the mast rails being dirty. Wire brush and WD40 usually will fix it. Try to avoid using grease. It’s a dirt magnet
@FunkFPV Thanks a lot for your reply, I'll definitely check those out first 👍
Had that seat and it last all of 2 or 3 days. Maybe I got a bad one.
They really seem to be hit or miss 🤷🏻♂️
YAY!
