Honestly I feel like a hug is way more appropriate here. A kiss requires a certain amount of control to keep from smashing your faces together, but a hug can be done with all the adrenaline-driven strength a ridiculously terrified/relieved/happy person can muster.
This was one of the times when I actually loved that Castle was impulsive! I remember wanting to jump up and down when this happened. lol. Way to go Castle!
My favourite was in the Foyle's War episode "Among the Few". Sam got locked in an office with a time bomb, but it was so crudely made it never even went off. The bomb maker had just attached a contact to the hand of a clock, but it missed touching the other wire. From reading news stories about real bombings, it was the most realistic time bomb I've seen on TV yet.
Wow, it was my favorite scene! The music was beautiful, the hug was magnificent and when Castle took Beckett's hand was soooo cute! I also love Castle's face just before he yanked the wires, like he was saying ''I am NOT dying today!'' I sooo want the backround music of the bomb!

I cannot believe that they didn't confess their love during the seemingly final seconds of their life. Just imagine. One of them saying I love you. Then BAM! Castle diffuses it. It would have made a very interesting after-math. :)
Beckett's smile might possibly be the greatest thing I've ever seen. She is a true beauty; and Nathan is one very lucky man to be able to look at her all day.

So obviously *something* has to save the day. I've just gotta say, when that bomb got to 2 seconds, I was completely engrossed.

I think Nathan Improved that feeling pointing to the bomb like "...GOTCHA BITCH" and she reacted genuinely to it. I'm looking too deep into it I know, but based on recent news I heard about why the show was cancelled and the rumors about them fighting? Nuh, all those baseless rumors just couldn't have been true.
these episode and the linchpin episode was the ones where i was having the suspense feeling and the jaw dropped while listened to it! all the episode are good but these two are epic!!!!!!
I'd have died had this show got cancelled before Beckett and Castle finally became a couple. Love it and hope it lasts another 1,000 episodes at least.
Castle took a big risk when he decided to pull all the wires out from the bomb in the van,rather than find out the right wire when there wasn't enough time to find out. He was glad to hold Beckett's hand when he took the risk and it paid off.
I'm honestly surprised that beckett or castle didn't kiss each other after castle defused the bomb, since I would have kissed beckett after having a near death experience like that.
