I swear, Roxette had the most haunting songs of the late 80s and early 90s. Between this, "Fading Like A Flower", and "It Must Have Been Love". There's just something about their music that makes me feel something that no other artist does. It captures that sad but happy, haunting but hopeful feeling from my childhood that I didn't fully understand but I loved.

that's something i imediatly disliked as soon i have seen it: no shoes. there is all sorts of pathogens on the ground and then running barefoot on that is self destructive, that is not a good role model for people to admire. should have worn good sportshoes for staying there all that time.

My high school sweetheart and I danced to this song when it first came out....she was just 18 then....we had already been together for two wonderful years......we went on to live for 36 years together......she passed away recently and I am not sure why but this song brings back a flood of memories of when we were starting out, and tears......thank you Roxette for having this online so I can relive those memories. I'm sorry for your loss, David, but happy that you had 36 wonderful years together. This song holds special, bittersweet memories for me for the one that got away, that I left behind. I regretted it for many years, and wondered what my life would have been like if I listened to my heart. It haunts me every time I hear it. I just found out a couple years ago that he had died the year before. We weren't in contact for almost 20 years, but I did get to see him 14 years after we broke up, and I was able to apologize for how I had left him so abruptly. I moved across the country to be with my family, being only 21. This is such a wonderful song. The other great Roxette song, "it must have been love" has a similar theme and is very nice. It was redone by another singer (can't remember his name this second!) and shows what a classic song it is.

Don't think they made a bad song in my opinion. Many CD albums have songs you skip through, but Roxette is a full listen to all they're that good.

When I first saw her on MTV, the first thing that caught me was the tiny gap in between her front teeth. Weird how such a small imperfection can hold one's attention and be a sweet memory of her. Now I watch the videos and smile when I see that tiny gap. Her powerful voice brings me back but it's that cute gap that reminds me that she was human with an angel's voice

I remember being at Skara Sommarland with Roxette on the stage, 5 years old on my dads shoulders. My parents barely spoke swedish back then but we drove all the way just to see them perform. He's sick now and everything that reminds me of those days cuts me so deep.
